For the amount of money that I paid to stay in this hotel, the quality was less than expected. A lot less. The breakfast choices were few, the pool was not even open, and the room was uncomfortable. Furthermore, my wife had to call three separate times to make the reservation because each time she called she never got a confirmation email. As it turns out, each of the three staff members whom she talked to on the phone never even made the reservation, that is why there was never a confirmation email sent. While we were able to check in relatively smoothly, the checking-out was a whole different problem. Our deposit was never credited to our account, so we were charged an extra night's stay. Upon calling the hotel to see if we could get this credit back, we were told that they had no record of the deposit. So even though it did not show up on their records, it was on our credit card bill. In fact, it still is. And on top of that, the staff at the hotel did not recognize our Holiday Inn Express frequent stayer rewards club status. The staff has been extremely unhelpful in resolving the many issues that we have faced throughout our stay. The overall experience of this hotel, including customer service, amenities, and comfort, were all less than ideal. We will not be staying here again.

This Holiday Inn Express had all the things that I look for in a hotel. The front desk staff and the ladies in the breakfast area were friendly and I felt they truly cared about their guests.
