Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Home Away From Home I stay at this hotel at least one week out of every month, and while I've never had a bad HIE stay, this one is my favorite. The staff greets you every time you arrive or leave, the rooms are always clean and comfortable, and there's a great selection at breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area. November 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great gathering and resting place The four of us gathered from different locals to visit each other and explore Austin. Your inn fit our needs perfectly. The property was lovely inside and out, the rooms were very comfortable and had the amenities that we needed. We enjoyed the convenience and quality of the food and drink available both at breakfast each day and in the late afternoon. The dining area was open and cheerful. But most of all the quality of your staff was exceptional. They were able to help us in many ways from fixing a reservation booked at the wrong location, the places to eat locally, directions to places we wanted to visit, and not least, relating the legend of an obscure, haunted painting in a downtown hotel and telling us how to find it. Thanks for helping us make the most of our wonderful visit together. November 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Relaxing trip Check-in/out were quick and the staff was friendly. During the stay they answered any questions I had. Room and bathroom were spotless. Bed was comfortable with plenty of choice of type of pillows. Thankfully there were plenty of accessible electrical outlets for all my electronics. Surprised that the bathroom was roomier than what I was typical. Breakfast was adequate. Online description stated that there was a choice of 3 different types of omelettes. However, it was 1 type per day not a choice. Still not a negative even though I was able to eat 1 type. On the whole, I would definitely stay again. November 3, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Would not recommend Not the best stay I have ever had at a Holiday Inn Express. Not impressed with the overall look or feel of the place - too stuffy business style. Night clerk extremely rude when I questioned the room I was given. Told me that I had not made reservations through that hotel. Yes, I made my reservations through the 800 # for Holiday Inn Express. This young person did not even greet me as a Platinum member, did not say anything about where anything was on the property just gave us the key and walked away! Not a very good representation of Holiday Inn Expresss! Would not recommend a stay here for anyone! This was definitely not like any of the other Holiday Inn Expresses we have stayed at!!! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great room The room was a great value and very clean. Travis, at the front desk, was a lot of fun and very helpful. My only complaint would be the offloading of the trucks at the Costco. It woke me up both mornings. Also, if there is a "heavy" walker on the floor above, you will hear that. We do plan to stay there again as it is in a good location and very comfortable. November 2, 2014
