The property is located close to the airport. With that being said don't expect much. The hotel room was clean and comfortable even had a small mini bar like area with a couch. However you can tell the room use to be one of those old Holiday Inn rooms that might have allowed smoking. My motto is if you can tell its been remodeled it wasn't done right. A remodeled building should look brand new. I'm 5'2 and the shower was quite short. The exhaust fan was very loud. I'm generally a cold person but the air conditioning did't seem to get below 75. On a positive note there was free beer Shiner Bock wine chips dips and sandwiches at the happy hour every night. The pool area was nice. Parking was plentiful. One of the big bonus downtown is literally 15 minutes away with traffic via Riverside drive however avoid I-35 like the plague. Lobby was being remodel as I left.

Great service, clean rooms, access to a pool and a gym. The staff is very friendly. Also, their breakfast is that best I've had at any hotel.

Overall good place but needs some renovation on the floors as it was bit smelly. Room was comfortable and big. Staff was nice and helpful. For holidayinn express it was bit expensive.

we have always lucked out with holiday inn hotels. So far from our stays in Dallas to Austin to San Antonio, the Holiday Inns have either been new or are being renovated. My only comment would be to you and to any hotel ,is maybe monthly, because I know sometimes labor hours are not always available, but look in corners and crannies. Do a deep cleaning monthly to get those nasty grimes and dust, dirt, and hair balls from the corners and near the floors and anything left on walls, especially in the bathrooms.cracks and marks should be painted as well also maybe every six months.I think doing a spring cleaning will save you money in the long run and your customers wont see the negative, but will enjoy their stay.

Overall the stay was good. I would like to see a night light added to the bathrooms. This way it doesn't wake other people up in the middle of the night.
