Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Rude staff My family and I stayed here around 9 times within 3 months and a half. The place it is clean, actually it should be since it is around only for 2 years. Usually I don't like to write reviews, especially negative ones, but this last stayed was a really unpleasant one.., as I said I stayed there 9 times and I found the staff to be very cold, rude and not welcoming at well... It made my family and I very uncomfortable . I expected a better treatment from them ... Already looked for another hotel for my next stay .... December 5, 2013

Rooms available, check in went very quickly, given water, treat bag, and fresh oatmeal raisin cookies on the counter. We took our 5 year old swimming to burn off some energy after driving all day. Although the pool was quite cold, it pleased her for a little bit. The toiletries in the room are a nice added touch. We would definitely recommend and if in the area again, we would stay! She kept all of the food stations filled without being asked by the guests. She even cleared the plates and utensils from our table. We have traveled extensively for many years and have NEVER had this done for us. Beth is a definite plus to your hotel. We will return to this hotel in our regular travels to Chicago to visit our family and Beth will be one of the reasons for us doing so. November 15, 2013

Alyssa took good care of us at the front desk and Beth was so warm and friendly and offered such good service as our breakfast host. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel. The staff was outstanding-- really went above and beyond-- and rooms were spacious and clean. The location is great for easily getting around the area. I was surprised that the block of rooms wasn't in the same area on the same floor, but we made it work. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff at the front desk were welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. The location is easy from the toll road. The breakfast was exceptional. The weather was beautiful and the only place to gather outside was directly in front of the entrance which I thought was a little awkward for guests coming and going. October 9, 2013

We arrived early and the general manager checked to see if a clean room was available (they were sold out from the night before). Next to the manager was a gentleman on the phone giving his apologies for having no rooms available for the evening, and then, from memory, gave the names and numbers of three other local hotels the person could call. We checked in early to a spotless room with gratitude. After a swim in the pool, we wanted to wash our clothes but the washing machine was not working. No worries! The housekeeping staff washed our load of laundry at no charge in their facilities. A great breakfast bar awaited us in the morning, as well as a friendly send off from the staff, including the general manager. This hotel by far was the best experience I have had as a Priority Club member through IHG. Simply impressive. October 1, 2013

The bedding was fresh and spotless. The bathroom was extremely clean and looked fairly new. The front desk and breakfast personnel were extremely kind and polite. Very professional. We would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again! Also, it was way convenient... right of the highway. September 30, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Service This hotel is a great excellent customer service hotel. My boys ages 7, 6 and 4 arrived at midnight on last Thursday. We were all way tired driving from Wisconsin to New York. The check in at the front desk was quick and simple. The young lady was very welcoming. The person in the morning when we left was as equally friendly and very nice to my very active boys. I would stay there again and again. By the way, the facilities were clean, modern and well kept. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best stay on the trip Over a 9 day period we stayed exclusively in IHG facilities and this was the best one for various reasons. In our travels, it has been the first facility to have recycling bins available for paper, plastic, and aluminum - WAY TO GO! Holiday Inns are sorely lacking here. There was also a manager's reception with finger food, sodas, beer, and wine in the evening - nice touch! We did not have that at any of the other HIE's on this trip. Breakfasts are predictable at all HIE locations - same choices different day, however Youngstown had additional items - oatmeal bar, breakfast potatoes, and tropical fruit. These were the ones that stood out for us. It was a nice change from the standard fare. August 13, 2013

All questions and requests for help received very Nicely and promptly. Breakfast was good with more choices than usual. Rooms were well prepared and clean, had dinner at bob.
