Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by A very disappointing experience! I choose this property due to its proximity to the airport as I was doing a one day transit. However it was extremely disappointing stay. I was given room 0617, first it was difficult to locate as the rooms were not arrange in numerical order. A very weird arrangement indeed as I struggled in finding my room. I finally found the room with the assistance from the house keeping crew. As I was working on my computer, it began to rain and that was when the most terrible thing happened. I felt my feet wet and realised that water was beginning to enter the room via the window, which was shut closed. The rain water was entering the room and at a very fast rate. I had to quickly secure my belonging from getting wet and potentially damaging them. I called to complain on this and they sent a housekeeping staff to evaluate the situation and the same staff then brought the maintenance crew to try and rectified the problem. No offer or mention of room change was made. The room was clearly not fit to be used! Yet there I was in the room while the maintenance crew tried to stop the flooding, While I sat on the bed watching them for a good 15 minutes! I was dumbfounded and demanded for a room change, when i got grip on what has transpired! Only then I was offered a room change, but no offer of helping me move my belonging were made. Moved them on my own from 6th floor to the 3rd floor. The front desk reception inquired about my new room upon my return from dinner, but that was it. Clearly a different standard from other properties! Being an IHG member I would have at least expected that the hotel manager to apologies for all these. But instead they sent the reception staff instead. Very disappointing! December 20, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great place the staff was great, the pool was great, the fitness room was good, breakfast was great, location was great. the overall value for the money was great. we stayed in kuta for two nights then moved on to sanur. absolutely no problems at all. had great service on the taxi trip to sanur. kuta is action packed and the hotel was a great refuge. what would i want different....espn would have been nice, but hard to find in bali. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Valuable Beyond my expectation. I just want to escape from Jakatar for 1 night , Holiday Inn Express Kuta Square is very pleasure place to stay. Good location, near Kuta beach and shopping area. Good Room, rooftop swimming pool, and staffs. Quality of breakfast as you can expect from Holiday Inn-Express. If there are one thing to improve, I think it should be a fitness room which need better air ventilation or some windows. If I go to Bali again, this hotel will be in my firstly choices. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfort of the Piilow I need at least 2 pillows to get to sleep... In Holiday Inn you will get to have 2 pillows to choose, soft and firm. The space of the room is good. Firm bed and clean bed-sheet is what I enjoy in this hotel group. Simple Breakfast yet with variety is a plus point during the stay November 18, 2014
