Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Somewhat disappointing We were given a good room at a great price, considering it was a baseball play=off weekend. But the internet service broke down, and since it was a weekend, the hotel staff declared nothing could be done until Monday. When I asked to speak to a manager about this, the staff on duty said he or she was not on duty on the weekend. (Why the IHG group, with its many properties in and around Baltimore, can't arrange with a 24/7 IT service provider is a mystery.) Also, the breakfast area is too small, and the hours too restricted to serve the need effectively. October 19, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by tiny room, King bed is actually closer to queen sized bed Had a bad experience at this hotel. Booked a King bed suite. Turns out this room is a bed with a pullout sofa. I spend almost 3 months a year in hotels, and this was no suite. I complained to the front desk as the King sized bed was almost a foot less (68" instead of 76") a real KS bed. For 2 guys to share a bed, it was too narrow. At the front desk, was told that nothing they could do as hotel was sold out. Also told by the guy that hotels make beds whatever they want and he says King beds can be different sizes. TOld me the size was listed on the bed label -- guess what? He lied. The room was cramped, furniture was old. The building is an old bank by the highway. Nothing there, unless you need to be near the men's shelter. Yeah, scary area! October 18, 2014

We got a room at the Holiday Inn Express Baltimore-Downtown and received wonderful service. The Baltimore Orioles were at home and the marathon was on Sunday. Lots of extra people in town and we still got excellent service. Nice staff, clean room, good breakfast and reasonable rates. They helped us get transportation to the wedding. We were very pleased with the service we received. We would highly recommend a stay at this Holiday Inn. October 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay As a recurring Johns Hopkins Hospital inpatient and outpatient, we have used this facility several times and plan on doing so on all future trips. The reception staff and shuttle drivers are most accommodating and extremely nice. We enjoy the convenience and selection of the breakfast, the beds are superior, room is exceptionally clean and quiet. Shuttle service from train station and also to hospital and other locations is such an added value that we do so appreciate, Most impressed. The only thing we feel would enhance our stay would be for breakfast to be available until 10:00 am. October 13, 2014
