Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good locale The hotel has a beautiful lobby with the intricate architecture that America appreciated in the past. Although, it is not in the best part of the city, I still felt safe. You are a quick car ride to great eateries. I would stay here again. November 24, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Okay but not great experience The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly at check in. That being said I spoke with the front desk girl about my boyfriend coming in after midnight. I wrote down his name and requested a key be left for him. At 1am he checked in and there was no information passed along. So they had to call and then come and wake me to make sure this "guy" was indeed supposed to get a key to my room. I appreciated the new front desk not letting a random guy into my room but basic customer service was missed. I don't know that I can say that you should never stay at this hotel based on this experience though. The hotel is off a major road and the windows provide zero sound proofing. The location is great as I could easily walk to the inner harbor and the price wasn't bad. November 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service There had been a small issue with a top window sliding down about an inch. Mark, the manager was right on top of things and made sure that our accommodations were perfect. He was polite and took the time to make things right. Thanks Mark November 19, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service and comfortable room I was able to relax after a long day at the convention center in my room and get a good night's sleep and the next morning get up and have a delicious breakfast and have a free shuttle service to and from the convention center for my next session. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Baltimore Downtown A very unique property Formerly a bank and built in the early 1900s the lobby is beautiful. The room was very nice and quiet even though there was downtown traffic below. The staff were very courteous and the shuttle to the inner harbor was convenient November 5, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Wow bad surprise Manager and his hotel are sad. The employees seem stressed, undervalued. And manager doesn't have to try - he has a cash cow - folks will stay here to be close to their relatives staying at the Johns Hopkins hospital. No one answers front desk phone. At all. Ever. Even when Holiday Inn Corporate staff tried to locate the hotel personnel - they couldn't get anyone to answer any of the phone numbers they had either!!!!!!! If you stay here, have a black belt, and maybe sleeping medication - you don't want to be awake or aware. For help you will have to call 911. How pitiful is that. When I moved to another Holiday Inn the staff there shared that they are never able to reach anyone by phone either. I did not feel safe in the hotel, and Juvenile Justice Center is right across the street. Good grief. The building, the beds, cleanliness - all of this is fine. All other staff treated me well - just manager was a patronizing turkey when it was brought to his attention that no one can feel safe if we can't reach front desk. Wow. October 28, 2014
