Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Our Official "Jewish Downtown" Hotel
When this hotel opened @ 5 years ago I approached them about offering special accomodations to us on Jewish holidays and over the Sabbath when attending B'nai Israel Congregation on Lloyd Street. Their positive response was immediate and we have been coming back ever since....and bringing our friends. Although we live downtown, due to my disabilities I can no longer walk back and forth to the synagogue, so this hotel has become my "home away from home". They allow us to bring in our own kosher food and assist us in every way to be able to serve hot meals for ourselves. We have even hosted our Passover Seders on site and been able to invite other guests (Jewish and non-Jewish) undergoing medical care at Hopkins to join us for meals, etc.
I cannot stress enough how accommodating and helpful the staff has been to us. Please call the hotel directly and ask for the synagogue rate when you come downtown to B'nai Israel!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Old Bank Building
A unique stay, yes weird rooms but you are staying in an old bank building and yes its farther north. But to compensate the staff drove everyone around and I just took a cheap cab ride home. Wonderful and helpful staff, i.e. front desk/driver pointed things out like a tour guide in route to stadium. As bonus there is a farmers market across the street on Sundays.
The neighborhood is rough but everyone just smiled at me. I will stay here again.

Convenient launching point for where we wanted to go - JHU and Inner Harbour. Wish we could have stayed longer.
