Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good, but not as great as last time. I was very excited to stay at this HIX again, however, the experience I had this time was not as great as last time. Best part of my stay was the staff, most of them were very friendly and helpful, especially a front desk staff named Tonn. Tonn was always smiling and asking me how was my day and stuff, he showed that he really cared about the guests. But one of the agents named Guts was not that friendly, she did not smile, even if you smile at her she does not smile back at you. I passed by front desk many times and she did not make any eye contacts with me, Tonn, on the other hand, always give me a smile even if he is helping another customer. The worst part of my stay was the room. First room I got assigned to had a lot of problem: the toilet paper holder was broken, there was a big yellow stain on the bed sheet, wall was messed up. It really shocked me because last time I came the room I got did not have any of those problems. I wonder if housekeeping even do room inspection before they check people in? Second room I got was ok, but there was only 1 slipper in one of the slipper packs. Breakfast had less selection than last time too, so I gave up on going after 1st try, very nice staff though. Overall, very nice customer service, great location and good sleep quality, but I doubt if I will come back again because I'm afraid I'll get assigned to a room with problems again. August 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Another splendid stay I highly recommend this hotel not only because of it's convenient location to Sky-train/BTS (National Stadium) because it is modern, very clean, well maintained and operated by a professional courteous and staff. Less than 10 minute walk to MBK and all of the shopping and dinging/restaurant options you can imagine. I will definitely stay again. August 26, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Felt like very important! Highly recommended We arrived on the day of the unfortunate attack at Erwan shrine. We weren't able to do much shopping as most of the shops closer really early. I was extremely impressed with the staff & GM for their very well executed crisis management. Within less than 2 hrs, they had place notices under every guest's door advising us to contact any staff to advise we are safe & back in our rooms as they were doing guests head count (we were 1 of the rooms that they had placed a notice under the door). There was also a notice on the lobby lift landing advising us to avoid certain areas. To further add on, I personally witness several occasions that the GM stood behind the desk with her staff to assist guests (including past 10pm) then witnessing her confirming our room numbers when we were at breakfast the next morning at 9am. I've been in the hotel industry for more than 10yrs & you can say I'm pretty darn impressed with the way things work in this property. I have nothing but praises for this hotel & I will definitely be back to stay when I'm in BKK. Kudos to all who had helped us 1 way or another during our trip! We really enjoyed our stay. :) And also they really make you feel worth it joining their membership (although it's complimentary) as they thanked me at least 3 times throughout my stay making me feel very valued. The location is excellent and the staff are all friendly and efficient. The only negative is that the breakfast quality has dropped. Will definitely return again. August 19, 2015
