Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Front Desk Again, the first opportunity for projecting a good image to the customer is the front desk - this is where the customer will begin a good experience, or a bad experience. Whenever I stay at an IHG hotel, it seems as though IHG has "cracked the code" for this event. The front desk staff is always prompt, attentive and accommodating - as if they are personally interested in their functions. This is a breath of fresh air, compared to other hotels I've stayed in on business trips. Also (VERY important) the housekeeping staff(s) are always "on their game". When I travel, I always have computer equipment scattered around the guest room, and prefer to receive housekeeping services every other day or so, when staying at an IHG hotel, usually placing a "do not disturb" card in the key slot. When I return to the hotel at the end of a business day, a member of the housekeeping staff will usually (unprompted) approach me with spare towels, a bar of soap, cream and shampoo, and trash bags, telling me that they noticed the card in my door. They go on to let me know that if I need anything, simply let them know - this is really appreciated! November 15, 2014
