Pro's: The front desk staff is really great - I dealt with Lynn and she is so friendly and down to earth. The rooms are always clean and smell good. Bedding is comfortable and I can easily work from my room as well as relax.
Con's: The front door isn't automatic unless you push the handicap button. This makes it difficult to drag luggage in - also dates the hotel. The breakfast staff person didn't keep the breakfast area stocked, but hopefully this was a one-time thing.
Overall....would recommend this hotel to friends and family and will continue to stay here myself when I travel thru Batesville.

Do NOT use the dry cleaning service at this Holiday Inn Express. My dry cleaning was laundered, even though it was clearly marked on the inventory list to dry clean. The hotel takes absolutely no responsibility, even though they contracted with the outside service. They told me it was my problem and to contact the outside service. The ultimate insult was the General Manager telling me that he was NOT buying me new clothes. Guess what?!? I do not want new clothes. I just want the ones I sent to the dry cleaners. What I expected was for the hotel to approach the dry cleaner about the problem. Typical customer service these days.....they all think the customer wants something free to solve the issue. All I want is for the right thing to be done and for responsibility for actions. Is that too much to ask? The customer should not be berated for something the customer did not do.
