Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent place to stay for a few days I have stayed at this hotel many times over a period of years and there is a good reason - it's an excellent place to stay. The staff has been friendly and the rooms have been perfect. It's located a little bit back from the room which helps make it quiet at night. It is also located in an area with lots of choices for dinner and shopping. On some nights, they have a small buffet dinner in the eating area which was an unexpected but greatly appreciated treat. Overall, my stays here have met or exceeded my expectations. A August 23, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great food In room 318, our bathroom walls had deep black scuffs on the walls and inside the shower/tub area there are lots of dirt/grime/stains. Clearly housekeeping is doing the bare minimum to turn a room over. Management should ensure that every (bath)room from a 1 star property to a 5 star facility is cleaned the exact same way. Stains are stains and it makes me reluctant to come back!! The bathroom had two lights missing which I found to be peculiar. Someone stole two lights or they didn't have enough lights?? The toilet paper was a bit awkward to reach even for a hefty gentleman like myself. It wasn't easy to obtain even though I have tendonitis in my right arm. One of my guests forgot to pack his toothbrush and toothpaste. Per hotel policy, he asked the front desk for a complimentary replacement and they told him, "sir, i can't find it, i guess we are out" (no apology). I found my rate to be expensive even with a major corporate discount at this location to be absurd. I should pay $50 at the most to stay here. Management needs to qualified staff to scrub deep to get these stains and get the job done or I need to contact the the Baton Rouge chamber of commerce. August 12, 2015
