Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome stay! Our first time to Baton Rouge will definitely not be our last mainly due to our wonderful stay at this hotel! It gave us a lasting great first impression of the area! If you are looking for friendly, attentive staff - you won't be disappointed! From the front desk clerks (who made us fresh coffee without us asking), to the housekeepers, to the breakfast bar attendant, all staff made us feel welcome and appreciated. I used my points to book a suite for two nights. The best part - the suite was the same amount of points as a regular room! We got a roomy bedroom, spacious kitchen area and a living room. The bed, pillows, sofa - were very comfortable. Breakfast was ample and delicious. And again, the staff were stellar in their customer service! This is the place to stay when visiting Baton Rouge for either business or pleasure! Now we can't wait to come back to Baton Rouge for a visit because we have a wonderful place to stay! The room is always clean and everything works. The bathroom lighting is awesome. The staff is always friendly and helps with anything special I may need. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Extra helpful staff We have stayed at this HIE several times. The desk staff is very efficient. The breakfast staff always makes you feel welcome and seems to want to please you with the breakfast choices. My suggestion for improvement is to get rid of the "fan" that is blowing perfumed air into the pre-lobby area. I have to hold my breath and run from outside through the entrance to the front desk. I don't know if the piped in air is to mask some smell, but it is so strongly perfumed that it makes you sick to your stomach. Once past that, the hotel is clean, quiet, and in a good location.
