Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service and nice facility We were "given" a free night at another hotel chain, but after pulling in the parking lot decided we would just pay to stay at a better/safer place. We located this Holiday Inn in a much better area in town and stopped to see if they had any vacancies. The staff was very friendly and understanding and got us a room. Staff helped us find a great restaurant to eat at and the complimentary breakfast was very good. We will stay at this hotel next time we are in Baton Rouge! Thanks!!! March 30, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Cleanliness could be improved Housekeeping and maintenance need to be improved. Service was acceptable. First room that I was given had a very strong sour, musty odor. I returned to the front desk and was given an alternate room that was acceptable. March 29, 2015

After this stay, I stayed at the Holiday Inn suites at New Orleans Airport. The rates were high and no benefit was given as an IHG rewards member. March 29, 2015

But I will say that I almost-always find hairs in the corners of the bathroom, this time under the bath sink counter was kinda "icky" but u do so many other things SO WELL. We will continue to stay at Holiday Express when driving, though when we fly, etc.... we do opt for more luxurious properties. March 18, 2015

I stay here for the LSU baseball games and it is a perfect location for me that is quiet, in a great location for me to get to and close to good eating places. They recognize me as a a Priority Club member and early and late check-in and check-out is appreciated. Beds are comfortable and I am able to relax before and after the games. March 18, 2015
