Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Looking for a Fun Weekend Getaway Spot We are looking for a weekend getaway for the year. As Priority Club members we saw that this Holiday Inn Express had a water park, our kids would love that! When we arrived, our room was not ready well after 4pm. But the WONDERFUL Front Desk Guy Jonny, gave us a Certificate for a free pizza and soda and a $25.00 gift certificate for the inconvenience. After we got to our room it still was not very clean. We found pop cans and garbage on the window and it just smelled GROSS. The light fixtures in the bathroom were filled with dust and my daughter has asthma and so I had to keep her out of the room until I could DUST the entire room. Not my job, but it was not done. The first night our upstairs neighbors kept us awake all night pounding and a DOG barking all night. I told the front desk in the morning and she gave us a small refund, that was SO NICE! The next day we tried to rest in our room because of the lack of sleep the night before, but the dog upstairs BARKED NON STOP…..We could not relax, except to leave our room and go to the Water park and hide in the adult hot Tub which was the BEST!! Kids loved the water park and arcade. I loved that it was not crowded at all. Not too big not to small. That was the best part of our stay. Because of Jonny, at the Front Desk and the girl in the morning, that were so kind to us, and the amazing WATER PARK, we will be making this our Weekend getaway VACATION SPOT this year. We will ask for a family suite on the top floor in hopes to prevent the noise we had this last time. Our kids are older and can be quiet so we know they won't bother the neighbors under us. Again, thank you Jonny for the wonderful service!!!! September 12, 2014

The staff was freindly and the room and hotel was quiet during our leisurely stay. The breakfast selection and quality of food, clean and comfortable breakfast area capped off our overnight stay. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The fort bed was fantastic. It was a very rainy day and I was on the internet looking up something to do. I came up with the idea to go to Brainard for water parks and your website caught my eye. I am so glad it did. We made arrangement with the telephone and we pack up for the two hour drive. It was a wonderful time for us with our two grandchildren. Water park was a huge success with the kids and grandparents love the comfort and safety with our stay. We plan to do another trip again . The room we had was a fort room and the kids and I loved it. well worth the extra money. August 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Baxter/Branard The Holiday Inn Express performed up to expected standards. The room and bed was comfortable and a wide choice of pillows was included on each bed. The staff cleaned and prepared the room very well each night. The breakfast offered was better than most other "Express" hotels. A nice place to stay. August 27, 2014
