I just got back from staying at a Times Square hotel in NY and I can tell you that I enjoyed this stay soooooo much better!!! The rooms were bigger, the wi-fi was FREE and you got free breakfast! I'd never stayed in Bay City but this hotel was recommended by a co-worker for my overnight business stay. I was NOT disappointed. The only thing lacking is their workout room but I was the only one in there so luckily didn't have to fight for equipment. The hotel is close to pretty much anything you might need and easy access to I-75. Do not overlook this hotel if you're on the road. Thank you for a quality room :o)

I have had my share of spending nights in motels and I can say without a doubt this is one of the best. Everything is top notch and well taken care of. No burnt out lights, no slow drains. They do a great job at preventative maintenance. The entire staff is easy going and friendly. We recently had a city wide power outage and even then they tried to keep you comfortable. I will be going back to Bay City again within the next couple of months and you can be rest assured I will be staying at this location

Stayed two nights , OK first night . Second night , only cold water . Staff said , "We're working on it".
No hot shower .
That same night it rained and there was no power . No lights . No shave . No heat . No AC . No hot breakfast or coffee . No refund .
Staff said , "We're working on it ".

I stay here for business 2-3 days almost every week. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are always clean and the WI-FI always works great. I always have a great experience here and the staff have always been extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend it for business or pleasure!

One of my bff and I went to Bay City for a benefit concert and weekend of shopping.
The hotel was easy to get in and out of being so close to the highway. It was great to have MEIJER across the street as well as a multitude of local restauarants to choose from.
The 2 queen bedroom suite that we had was AWESOME. LOVED having the seating area to hang out and relax after a day of shopping withouth haveing to be couped up when in a 2 queen room. Loved the fridge and microwave and mini kitchenette to enable us to save a few bucks by getting some simple groceries.
Staff were very friendly and willing to help from giving us directions to arranging for a cab for us to head out for the night.
Our room was very clean and well kept. Breakfast buffet area was a good size - to accomodate larger groups of people.
Love the tv area in the breakfast area to catch up on the news before heading out as well.

One of the reasons that I keep returning to the Holiday Inn Express chain is that I have come to expect a comfortable room, good night's rest, and up to date amenities at a fair price. This location definitely lives up to that expectation! After a day working "on the road" it is comforting knowing that you don't have to worry about what to expect when you arrive at your hotel! I will come back!

I always stay here in Bay City. Last stay, I had noisey nieghbors so the desk clerk upgraded me to a nicer and quieter room.

In spite of having the heat set to 80, the temperature in the room never got above 60 or so. Complained to front desk, but they were unable to help.

I was highly impressed with how clean the hotel was; and inviting. It was extremely quiet at night; and I was able to rest. Also, the pool area was very clean and well maintained. The staff acknowledged my priority status immediately; and was very friendly. The breakfast choices are comparable to other Holiday Inn Expresses. I look forward to my next stay because this is an EXCELLENT place to stay as a business travel.

The one disappointment I experienced during my stay is that this property still doesn't have a hot tub. That's relatively minor, though. The breakfast was very good, with a very good assortment of choices. The room was very comfortable, property was close to the expressway, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Please consider adding a hot tub as soon as possible.

Great hotel with comfortable beds. Accessibility is great, fantastic steak house just down the street. We did not eat breakfast, so I can't comment on that. We stay here several times a year while traveling and will continue to do so.

my room was 154 with the taxes. the bathroom smelled like a sweaty guy that hadn't showered in a few days.
I went to iron my shirt, the iron leaked all over my shirt and left a stain down the back of my shirt.
I told the desk clerk and she said "oh you should have told us sooner" no offer for anything. Do yourself a favor and stay at a different hotel.

My fault - but assumed on check-in that room had ref/microwave.
It did not. I had not asked on check-in. Went back to front desk to ask about availability. Was not able to be helped because the "cheat sheet" listing rooms where available was missing and desk did not have any other way of knowing (they said).
Rest of check-in was pleasant and nice
Only there for one night so we easily survived.
That said. All else was positive. Morning checkout nicely handled when I mentioned the check-in experience.

The front dssk staff, the room service all went out of their way to help us. It was our daughters wedding and they made sure we made it to the church on time.

We stayed in a 2 Queen suite and found it very roomy and comfortable.
The only negative was that the only TV was in the bedroom section which was ok for us as we didn't watch it but might not be for someone who wants to sit in the living room area.
Always enjoy HI Express!

We have stayed here twice and enjoyed our stay. The only complaint we have is the noise level. The hotel is not very sound proof and you hear and feel noise from the level above. The second time we made sure we had a room on the top floor and it was much better.
