Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bed was hard I have a bad back and the bed was hard and very uncomfortable for me. Other than that it was a nice hotel. New beds or thick mattress pads are a must to get me back there. I had to kill a medium size spider in the bathroom. June 7, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by few suggestions I stayed here for a week, have stayed here before and will stay here again as my mother is across the street in assissted living. I would LOVE to see in the bathroom: a night light a soap dish PLEASE go back to your wonderful lotions and shampoos. The new brand is not good and I hate to have to bring my own!!!! The thermostat in my room did not work and had to be replaced a few days into my stay. Hard to control comfort level in room. The girl working breakfast was there 6 of the 7 days I was there she seemed tired and was irritable a few of the mornings. May 6, 2013

Basic breakfast with the pancakes and cinnamon rolls a plus. Recent upgrade to exercise room also a plus. Only one restaurant within easy walking distance. March 24, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good stay The pool and the hot tub were a big hit for my kids. That alone helped us relax. All staff members were very courteous and were attentive to our needs. The room itself wasn't bad. I was suprised that the rooms didnt have a microwave in them but all in all a very good experience. March 11, 2013

Room is always clean, never had any dampness, odors, or other problems. Can't say that about the other hotel nearby. Breakfast offerings are the same from day to day, but always hot and good. Better than having to pay $$ for the same thing in Bloomington. February 18, 2013

The person behind the counter grabbed them a welcome gift. My turn: I stepped up with my confirmation number. I asked if my priority number was in the reservation and she said yes. I had 2 rooms reserved and I noticed that I had 2 different rates. I asked for that to be adjusted and it was...I stated that I wanted the 2 rooms to be adjoining...the same request I made when I made the reservation. The person at the counter stated that they could not find me adjoining rooms although I made the request 3 weeks prior to check-in. The person who checked me in was not friendly nor did she treat me like a priority club member. After I got my keys, I asked her if gifts were generally given to priority club members at check-in...she responded yes...and went to get ours. I had to remind her yet the family before me did not...She looked offended that she had to give them to me and I was totally offended that I had to ask her for them when the family in front of me did not! 2. Saturday morning at 10am, after eating breakfast, I went to the counter and asked for a late checkout for 1 of the rooms. The other room had a 2 night stay. I was promptly told that it was not possible and that a late checkout was not available. I then shared with the female at the counter that as a priority club member, I am usually given a late checkout. The person looked at my room and then apologized and gave me the 2'oclock late checkout. She never bothered to ask if I was a priority club member...she just quickly looked at me and responded NO. 3. I returned to my room on Saturday night and it had NOT been cleaned! No towels, trash overflowing, etc.....I called downstairs and the person at the counter did bring us fresh towels. We left at noon and we did NOT have a do not disturb sign on the door! This was one of the WORST experiences I have had at a Holiday Inn and I shared it with the person when I checked out but she didn’t look like she cared! January 4, 2013
