I stayed here for one night. Most services are as good as other Holiday Inn Express hostels, but the internet was very very slow. I cannot really link to the internet. I tried the computers in the lobby. There were very slow too. It was very inconvenient for me.

We stayed for one night, it wasn't bad. The location was pretty close to the Beijing airport, which is why we stayed there in the first place. The room was clean and internet was, to my surprise, pretty fast. Front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. Overall, it is a nice place with good service.

I have stayed here many times now as I often fly into Beijing late and prefer to stay at this hotel rather than driving all the way into Beijing. That being said, it is not as close to the airport as one might think given the name of the hotel. Not only is it at least a RMB 40-50 taxi ride from the hotel, but the notoriously unhappy Beijing taxi drivers picking up passengers at the airport are even more unhappy when they find out you are only going "halfway" to Beijing. Once you get there, you are greeted by a friendly staff and my room is always clean and prepared well like a Holiday Inn Express usually is.
The biggest disappointment of this hotel for me though is that the breakfast is consistently the worst I have ever seen in a Holiday Inn Express. I guess I get spoiled staying often at the Beijing Dongzhimen Holiday Inn Express where the breakfast is almost a "western" style, but the quality of the "ham" and lack of variety of eggs (boiled, or boiled?) is a problem at the airport zone. On a previous visit, I met a gentleman from Holiday Inn who was inspecting the hotel and i took a few minutes to explain to him that from a customer's perspective, the breakfast was horrible, but I guess it was not an issue for them as it was exactly the same on my recent visit. Anyway, there are not a lot of western guests and I suppose the breakfast is satisfactory for the Chinese guests, but I think that the purchaser at this property is really buying low quality and cheap food for the breakfast lineup - just my opinion but you asked for it!

Need more staff which are able to speak and understand English. Need more coordination between hotel and the agent ( IHG), as my room charged are paid by someone else, it is so difficult to ask the hotel to process the payment. More than 10 times called back and forth to the agent and to the hotel.

I booked this hotel because it was advertised as airport hotel. Although it is not far from the airport, it's not very close and most taxi drivers don't know this location (or they pretend not to know).
The room is basic but nice and the bed is very comfortable. I checked in when it was -8 outside and my room was freezing. I was not able to turn up the heat in my room.
Breakfast left me wishing for more...very limited selection, some foods that are not common to Westerners and did not appeal to me. There were no regular oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, scrambled eggs. Restaurant supervisor/manager? was watching TV and was not monitoring breakfast buffet.
Knowledge level of English is rather low, but this was noticeable everywhere, not just at this particular hotel. For an airport hotel however, I think this factor should be extremely important.
Lastly, I would like to thank Susan for accommodating late check out for me, much appreciated!

Only stayed one night but was 1st stay in Asia. Was exactly as other holiday inns in Europe and North America which is exactly what we wanted. The service was superb, hotel reception and manager were extremely helpful with our queries!

One of my favorite Holiday Inns. New modern feel and very clean. I believe the staff are the best out of the dozens of hotels in China I've stayed at. Excellent free breakfast buffett as well.

All facility are brand new. it's only little difference with a Holiday Inn hotel.
The staff are helpful.
The location is well. It's easy to take taxi to downtown or airport. But there is a little far from commercial center.

It is my first time to stay in HIX and the overall experience is good. No doubt it is not as premium as IC, Indigo, Crown plaza, but it is clean, comfortable and of good value.

Location: not a hotel near airport, check you GPS before make the choice
Nice: clean, quiet hotel as you can expected from other Holiday express. Breakfast is just OK.
Need a shop: no shop in ten minutes walk

I stayed in room #505. The room was nice and comfortable with the exception of shower floor. Shower floor was dirty with yellow stains in it. Good thing I had shower slippers to shower.
Some items I had during breakfast were slightly cold; eating table and table mats can use a good cleaning.
Hotel does offer complimentary shuttle service to Beijing Airport which is awesome.

my 1st room has no air-condition, so hot. after changing another room, the water in washing room just can't get off smoothly. the hotel is close to airport, but somehow far from subway and other commercial buildings.

Bad breakfast, just Chinese Food and Toast with Marmelade. Employees can't speak english. Bathroom have not been cleaned very well. There is nothing than a Hospital around it.

Everything is okay except a careless or unconsidered mind to the customer. I checked in very late at 3 the prior night and I have booked a taxis at 8am the next morning. The taxis driver came at 6:30am and asked the front desk to call my room to let me know about that. 6:30am!!!! It's impossible to call your customer at 6:30am, it's too early and in any case, the front desk should reject the request by the driver!!! OMG!!!
