Excellent suite.
Very comfortable & relaxing. The bed (mattress) & pillows were so comfortable. The amenities were a bonus!
When we forgot an item in the room, the staff were quick to notify us (immediately) regarding the item. Thanks.
Thank you for making our (short) stay a great experience. We will return.

Years ago we stayed in many inns all over Ontario and northern New York and Michigan States when our son played travel hockey,
It brought back old memories to see a couple of buses and teams at the hotel.
Hotel Staff and parents were excellent in the way they handled all the kids who were polite and well behaved.
It was a memorable and refreshing stay for us.

We enjoyed everything about this place..staff are great...food was good....my only negative comment would be about the rate... i find the rate to be high, although it is comparable to other hotels in the area...i suggest the price of hotels in Belleville to be excessive compared to similar communities

After arriving at the hotel very late (1am) during a snowstorm we were woken up twice in the morning 8am & 8:15am to ask if we were extending our stay. We were not impressed.

The staff were so friendly and helpful-it is obvious that they really wanted to make sure we felt appreciated! The breakfast was great and I love that it was included. While our room was a bit pricey, it was so comfortable, so clean, and we slept very soundly there. Since we were there determining which eastern Ontario community we would plan to move to, the friendly staff helped us decide to live in Belleville! The cookies are a nice touch-thanks for everything!

I had a very long day when I checked into the hotel. All I wanted to do was sleep for a few hours. A phone cal from the front desk woke me up. They were calling to say "Welcome" They had already said "welcome" when I checked in.
Forget the phone call.........let people relax!

I will honestly admit that booking theHoliday Inn was not our first choice . The nightly rates were a bit higher than the other local hotels but it was the only choice left when booking on the same weekend with Hockey tournaments. What a pleasant stay. The amenities were awesome. SO clean - so clean did i write that twice!! Yes I did. The front desk staff were very courteous when checking in and out. Well worth it. It will be our first choice from now on!!!

Could not fault anything. From special car park spots for its valued priority club members, to welcome cookies on the check in counter. ALL staff were extremely friendly, from the front counter to the cleaners. Excellent breakfast selection, which was constantly monitored and re-stocked regularly.
The managers here obviously have a good grip on things, and very obviously hire the right people.
Would definitely stay here again.

The women that was on staff with Lia at the front Desk Friday December 7, 2012 was lacking in communcation skills and very rude. I have never witnessed such disrespect for "the customer" as I did in the Holiday Inn Belleville because of this staff memeber more than half of the group (14 or 15 families) cancelled their stay for December 8...I would never recommend this hotel.

Great hotel if you're travelling on business, the staff will make you feel right at home, starting from front desk to breakfast people.
Hotel is very clean and quiet. Beautiful property. A must if you're visiting Belleville.

The hotel is perfect for a busy work week! Good selection for breakfast (I was able to make some healthy selections). The workout room is perfect for the end of the day (not to mention the pool and hot tub). The entire facility is clean, modern and the room was quiet and comfortable. Plenty or places to eat, withing walking distance.

I stayed here for one night and it was a pleasant stay. The room was large and clean. The beds were comfy and the hotel was quiet. I did not use any of the facilities because I arrived late and left early.

I travel throughout North America and Europe. I am a regular client of Holiday Inns worldwide. This is my first ever review for a hotel.
I found over the years that in Holiday Inns, mattresses are almost always the same except for the Belleville, Ontario. It has a thick 5 in. foam of some kind on top.
When you try to sleep, you will cave in the foam and your back will not lay flat. After the first minutes of comfort, your back will suffer more and more until morning. As a last resort to sleep, I even thought sleeping on the floor.
I mentioned this to the personnel the next morning and they mentioned these beds meet all the Holiday Inns standards. This is possible.
It was my first experience with these, sleeping multiple nights in over 40 different Holiday Inns over the years. I will remain a loyal client of this chain, but I will avoid going back to Belleville. I also hope this new type of bed does not spread to other Holiday Inns; this would be a good reason for me not to remain a client.
Next time, I will go for a repeat visit to either Bowmanville or Gananoque, Ontario. Both have great mattress and great night sleep. I suggest you do the same.

This was our first stay at a Holiday Inn Express. We booked a queen extended but the beds were two doubles. They were very comfortable, just not quite wide enough. The room and hotel were both very clean and well kept. Plenty of towels were provided and the request on the reservation for extra pillows was fulfilled. The room was a good size due to the sitting area and made for a comfortable weekend. I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Belleville or if you are visiting the County. The staff were all pleasant and helpful.
