When I checked in again, my luggage were already in my room. This is Extra service that makes a difference in the choice of hotel. I felt like home. Staff is always smiling. July 3, 2013

They were so pleasant, courteous, smiling, never got flustered and were willing to go that extra mile. They made our stay even more enjoyable. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel Stay Items that should be improved -Internet access is near impossible around 9pm -have kitchenettes in some rooms -microwaves don't have enough power to even do popcorn (one microwave shut off after trying to pop a bag for 3 minutes) -need separate key for fitness center -supposed to go to front desk to get pool towels -number of washers and dryers -quality of breakfast juices, bread is dried out, no omelet varieties April 30, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Hello, As a Holiday Inn constant visitor and Time Share Owner I was very disappointed with the service I received at this property. I was given a coupon to use from one property at ANY property. When I mentioned this coupon when I booked, they said, we don't know bring in the coupon. However before I could bring it in the message was at the front desk when I checked in that the manager left for the day and has decided not to honor my coupon. They did have a room for me, which I was happy not to be on the street that night. The next day when I called to see about staying another night, they didn't have a room for me unless I wanted to pay a large cost for a King suite. I did check out with extreme disappointment. I am on the road FIVE DAYS A WEEK with my job and always looking to stay at all the Holiday Inn properties around Canada. I did find wonderful service at a competitor's property down the street for a lot less with great service. When I checked in I was asked if I wanted a points card, which I said yest to, and got right there on the spot. I will be collecting points at that property when I come to Bellville from now on. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazing staff and service. The minute I walked in to this hotel I had a feeling my 2 night stay would be worry free and relaxing. The front desk staff is extremely helpful and courteous and made sure they met all my needs upon arrival. Both nights in my King Executive room were truly relaxing and enjoyable. The pool and fitness room are very well kept, as are all the facilities in this hotel There is not much to do in terms of shopping or night life in the area, but the amazing stay made up for that. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Quinte area on business or leisure whether on a budget or not. April 12, 2013

Hotel Staff and parents were excellent in the way they handled all the kids who were polite and well behaved. It was a memorable and refreshing stay for us. March 30, 2013

The breakfast was great and I love that it was included. While our room was a bit pricey, it was so comfortable, so clean, and we slept very soundly there. Since we were there determining which eastern Ontario community we would plan to move to, the friendly staff helped us decide to live in Belleville! The cookies are a nice touch-thanks for everything! February 11, 2013

The nightly rates were a bit higher than the other local hotels but it was the only choice left when booking on the same weekend with Hockey tournaments. What a pleasant stay. The amenities were awesome. SO clean - so clean did i write that twice!! Yes I did. The front desk staff were very courteous when checking in and out. Well worth it. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A very well run hotel Could not fault anything. From special car park spots for its valued priority club members, to welcome cookies on the check in counter. ALL staff were extremely friendly, from the front counter to the cleaners. Excellent breakfast selection, which was constantly monitored and re-stocked regularly. The managers here obviously have a good grip on things, and very obviously hire the right people. Would definitely stay here again. December 30, 2012

I have never witnessed such disrespect for "the customer" as I did in the Holiday Inn Belleville because of this staff memeber more than half of the group (14 or 15 families) cancelled their stay for December 8...I would never recommend this hotel. The workout room is perfect for the end of the day (not to mention the pool and hot tub). The entire facility is clean, modern and the room was quiet and comfortable. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Mattress I travel throughout North America and Europe. I am a regular client of Holiday Inns worldwide. This is my first ever review for a hotel. I found over the years that in Holiday Inns, mattresses are almost always the same except for the Belleville, Ontario. It has a thick 5 in. foam of some kind on top. When you try to sleep, you will cave in the foam and your back will not lay flat. After the first minutes of comfort, your back will suffer more and more until morning. As a last resort to sleep, I even thought sleeping on the floor. I mentioned this to the personnel the next morning and they mentioned these beds meet all the Holiday Inns standards. This is possible. It was my first experience with these, sleeping multiple nights in over 40 different Holiday Inns over the years. I will remain a loyal client of this chain, but I will avoid going back to Belleville. I also hope this new type of bed does not spread to other Holiday Inns; this would be a good reason for me not to remain a client. Next time, I will go for a repeat visit to either Bowmanville or Gananoque, Ontario. Both have great mattress and great night sleep. I suggest you do the same. October 21, 2012
