Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Nice hotel but loud doors made for patchy sleep
Overall, this is a very nice hotel for a Holiday Inn. The beds are comfy. It is clean. The bathroom has good lighting. TV channels are numerous and internet speed is good. And bonus, there are plenty of outlets--something other hotels don't provide. Check in and out was fast and the staff is very polite.
A few improvements can be made. The doors automatically close but due to the heaviness, they slam and loudly--this kept me up all night. I did bring it up to the clerk at checkout and he seemed sympathetic--we'll see if it gets addressed. The AC doesn't work very well. The breakfast bar is extremely small--I kept getting shoved out of the way when I was trying to make toast by another customer.

This is our third visit at the Bellingham Holiday Inn Express. It has been a positive experience all 3 times and the rates are reasonable...a better hotel than the Bellingham Mariott.

All the doors slam in the hallway and the walls are very thin. Very poor nights sleep. All the other amenities were great as usual. Very pleasant staff.

I was late for my morning meeting. Budget plenty of time for the airport shuttle, especially given that the airport rental car counters all close early on Sundays.
