this locations was very clean in and out. The rooms are very relaxing and there was no noise from the other rooms. The breakfast was very good, good variety of food.

The room was clean and comfortable, but I thought it was over priced. Company is paying so I didn't worry too much about that. The breakfast was OK for the cold choices but the hot breakfast was disappointing. For the amount they charge I would have expected better.

We come to the Bay Area at least four times a year. We lived in Belmont for 31 years, so our friends and family are nearby. We are fortunate to have a quality hotel like the Holiday Inn Express Belmont available to stay at. Most of what we need is within walking distance: Subway, Omelette House, big Safeway, Starbucks, Peets. Laurel St. in San Carlos has loads of restaurants as does downtown Belmont and Carlmont Shopping Center.
Samir, the gen. mgr and the two main front desk staff, Francis and Michael, have always greeted us as a returning guest and have responded to our requests. We had a minor problem with our room this past visit. They immediately switched us into another room. Problem solved! We always look forward to coming back.

The staff were very helpful and the room nice. The bed was a little firm for my taste but I slept well.

This is a great property. It is new and clean and located conveniently. The warm cinnamon rolls in the morning are fabulous!

When I checked in (approx 5:00 PM on 3/15/13) I had to wait nearl 15 minutes at the Lobby Desk for someone to wait on me because no one was there; just a sign saying the attendant was serving another guest. After 15 minutes the attendant walked in through the front door with a hamburger. He apologized and said he was the only one there and that he hadn't eaten. That is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. A few minutes after I got my keys and went up to my room he called and asked if I had another credit card because the one I gave him was rejected. I use a business card and I knew that this was not the case. I told him to run it through again, which he did. He did not call back. After I talked to him I called my credit card company (Visa Card) and there was no problem with my credit card.
