Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 I would not recommend this hotel I found the room to be dirty, the hall outside dirty, the hotel is always under renovation. there was not flooring in the breakfast area and paper on the walls to cover construction. bedding was dirty. room smelled bad. December 5, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by ok but... Making a reservation via phone was not satisfactory. We were sent to a central booking site; the operator had the date wrong (which would have resulted in a charge to our credit card if we hadn't caught it); it took 15 minutes, when it should have taken 5 at most. The property was under renovation, with walls papered over, a broken elevator, and a feeling of living in a house under construction. The room had no refrigerator, and we required one. HOWEVER, the young man at the desk (night shift, Nov. 29), was spectacular. He got the elevator working when the repair company said they couldn't come until the next day; he carried a refrigerator up the stairs for us. I'm sorry I didn't get his name - the manager should be able to provide it. December 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Staff We did not know that this hotel was being remodeled it was under construction, how ever the staff was the best ever and the construction was never a problem the hotel was able to stay clean because of the wonderful staff that keep it clean. I will stay at this location again and look forward to the new finished remodel. Don't let the construction stop you from staying here!! December 3, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by elegance through difficulty took my family here over Thanksgiving holiday to visit family...they wisely suspended their full rennovation during this time, so i don't know how applicable our experience means when construction restarts...however, we had a great time in a fantastic room and a wonderful breakfast. only poor experiences was a too-cold swimming pool and when my 7 year-old was literally pulling peeling paint from the hot tub walls...i look forward to revisiting once the rennovation is completed in the spring! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great stay, in spite of renovations A special thank you to Josie, Jennifer and the wonderful staff at HIE Bernalillo, We needed a place to stay for 2 weeks while working in Bernalillo, and Josie was able to accommodate me and my entire crew for the duration of our stay, and make us feel at home, while away from home. Staff was very friendly, helping us with all of our needs, big or small. I highly recommend and will stay at again November 17, 2014
