Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel not identified as under renovation Hotel not identified as being under renovation when reservations were made not allowing for customer to make decision of desire to stay at the facility at this time. When the hotel home card key wasn't working for the room additional trip to the desk was necessary to find staff lounging at the desk, unprofessional appearance. Towels were extremely dingy in appearance as if they weren't clean. February 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff and comfortable room I stopped here in February and when I walked into the lobby I actually thought they were closed due to the fact that the lobby/breakfast areas were undergoing a major renovation. However, the shift manager, Josie, warmly greeted me and assured me that they were open. Renovations notwithstanding, they still provided a full buffet breakfast in the morning and the room was impeccable - clean and comfortable. I was a little concerned when I was given a room facing Hwy 550, however, I never even heard the passing traffic. Not sure when their renovation or the construction on 550 will be completed but it has not dissuaded me from staying there again. The staff's efforts to make you feel welcome should not go unnoticed. Also, they are convenient to eating establishments and the local casinos. The pool area was closed due to the renovation but that was not a factor for me. February 19, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Lobby Remodel Lobby remodel is still underway two months after my last stay. Turns out they took it all down to studs but did not pull a permit with the local authorities. After they did receive the OK to resume work I feel they should get it done double-time. Not one bit of work happened during my three day stay. The staff is all very friendly and I feel for them having to work in these conditions. February 11, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Under construction Hotel was being renovated but I was not told this prior to my stay. Fitness center not open. Carpet in room not finished. Bathtub did not drain toilet would not flush. And was dirty. Sink faucet dirty. When I told front desk on first night NOTHING was done to correct tub or toilet. Poor customer service January 30, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Different experience In comparison to my weekly stay at several other IHG locations I want to express that my families' experience was not a pleasant one. . Our first day started at our check in on Wednesday evening. I asked if there was a room available with walk in shower access due to my elderly mother in law being handicapped and utilizing a walker. I was just told NO. No attempt was made to try to make any type of accommodation. on our second day (Thursday) of our stay, after returning to the room in the evening from a day out, My wife noticed that there was what appeared to be a blood stain on the bed sheets ( which had to have been from housekeeping). The stain was not there prior to us leaving for the day. My wife immediately removed the sheets from the bed. Being that My mother in law was exhausted from our day out we did not want to get her up to have room service change her sheets. The next morning on Friday we advised Jorie about the incident with the sheets and He was very apologetic and said he would issue my account rewards points for the bad experience( which to this day have not been issued). On Friday, prior to leaving we noticed that our key card was not functioning to open our door so we were issued new cards. After returning from our day out on Friday evening we tried to open the door to our room and our key cards did not work again. We went down to the desk and advised Adam of our issue and he reissued new cards and suggested we try them and advise him if they did not work. The new cards did not function and non of the access lights turned on , Adam stated that more than likely the batteries went dead on the access panel and that he would try to contact maintenance so that they can fix it. He was unable to contact the maintenance personnel and suggested we move to another room( which at this point would be another inconvenience for us with my mother in law being handicapped and already settled in our room). He also stated that he would issue points to my account do the inconvenience, (which to this day have not been issued to either). As a loyal platinum IHG member. I hope that the experience my family encountered on this vacation is not the norm at your location. Needless to say I will continue to be a Loyal member. I just wanted to share our experience.
