Paid cash for the room and was asked by the desk clerk to post a $100 deposit for incidentials. Uppon checkout, no record could be found and the 100 bucks was gone with the afternoon desk clerk.

Great stop off on our way to New Orleans. We always choice Holiday Inn Express for the free breakfasts and always knowing what to expect. Have used Holiday Inn in London, Paris, Atlanta and New Orleans and more.

I will brag about one thing. Best shower of any hotel I have stayed at in 2 years! Water pressure was absolutely perfect. That may sound petty, but if you stay in hotels 200 nights a years like I do, you will understand. The hotel was also very clean and the staff was great. The only issue, if this can be called an issue, is the IHG hotels do not give cookies every night. I walked over to another brand hotel that I also stay at and got a couple of nighttime cookies and brought them back to my hotel. I am not picking on this particular hotel, this happens in every IHG hotel. For such a petty cost, I find it very cheap not to have fresh cookies every night!

We arrived late Saturday evening, tired and looking for the hotel. We didn't know it was near many nightclubs and there were many partygoers on the streets (some drunk). For a family, it wasn't the best sign. We found the hotel, but the entrance parking is confusing and very tight, restricted area to maneuver, especially while you are trying to check in. Once inside, the staff were excellent, good was very good and the decor very clean and nice. However, even with the AC and fan running all night, we were kept awake by the noise on the streets below (party-goers, cars gunning their engines, sirens, etc. until after 3 am). Not sure if it was due to the side of the hotel we were on, or not, but sadly, we won't be returning to this hotel. It does have a great location near lots of great vacation sight-seeing, but it isn't well insulated to prevent the noise from affecting a good night's sleep.

We checked in and checked out in the same day as it was a quick stop on the way to NOLA. Everything was nice and it looks like they are still in the middle of a remodel of the hotel in the hallways of the floors and grounds.

Great location and the showers a re great. Everything was very clean and modern. Only drawback was they were installing new carpet but everyone was very helpful and friendly.

This hotel would not be my choice if returning to the area; however, the breakfast is good and staff are nice. Don't even think about staying if you need internet. It is by far the worst I've EVER encountered. It is almost impossible to check email as there is almost no signal at all. The hotel is not real clean and my room had a very strong odor. There were construction workers milling about, in the elevators, hallways, fitness center, etc. This was not indicated on the website prior to booking the hotel. May need to hire someone to clean and freshen the place up once all construction is completed. In the meantime, this should be noted on the website. As an IHG member, I requested and received late check-out due to a late appointment in the area. Staff were very accomodating.
