Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by TV Programming I was very disappointed to see that HIE defaults to Fox "News" -- that is, when you turn off the TV, Fox "News" is the channel that comes on automatically when you turn the TV back on. I know I was in Oklahoma, but not everyone who travels to Oklahoma needs to be fed propaganda. It was just annoying. Otherwise, it was not a bad experience. The breakfast was very good. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointment As a regular business traveler, until mid year 2014 I always stayed at a competitor, but once I had the opportunity to stay at Holiday Inn Express I switched to HIE as my go to hotel wherever I happen to travel. In my weekly stays at HIE hotels, I have consistently been very pleased with the service, cleanliness and overall room and hotel amenities....until this stay! Upon arrival, my check-in was very quick and convenient. I do not recall the young man's name who was behind the front desk, but he was extremely courteous and helpful. However, once I was in my room and settled, I began to notice many cleanliness issues. The desk had dried coffee or some type of beverage rings in several spots, the night stand with the alarm clock had some thick, sticky substance (coffee or soda) underneath the alarm clock and under the lamp base (lamp was stuck to the table). The ottoman at the chair had some crusty, white substance dried on it. The bathroom floor appeared as though the corners had not been swept in some time, there was loose hair in the bathtub and the vanity had a dried layer of soap where the former guest had obviously laid a bar of soap and it dried. I wiped down the desk, night stand and cleaned out the tub so I could use them. Obviously, these issues were not a reflection on the staff as a whole but it was a surprising disappointment given the cleanliness that I have come to expect and enjoy with HIE. This one stay will not affect my choice to continue to use HIE, as I am already booked for next week in another city. January 23, 2015

The staff is always smiling & very pleasant Sammie was a wonderful help when looking for directions. ShiAnne was great with a very friendly speedy check in. Breakfast was hot and a variety of different things. Rooms were clean & comfy!! I'll be back again I would most definitely recommend this location again! January 19, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent service comfortable room Cheyenne responded immediately to a room issue and took steps beyond what might be expected necessary to assure that the situation was completely remedied. I was completely satisified with the quick response and even as a seasoned traveler impressed her superior service attitude. As a result of their thoughtfuI service I utililized the Bethany property for my family even though there were other HIE nearer our activities. Sammy was also very helpful on another unrelated matter. She followed up regarding towels and laundry that was not required, but was very helpful to me. Both made my stays at this motel an enjoyable experience. January 5, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Freezing cold pool! Room, staff and breakfast were great. But, the pool was ridiculously cold! My kids were really disappointed because it was so cold that we couldn't even use it. We complained to the front desk and the response was "It's supposed to be 80 degrees." I would have liked for someone to check the pool temperature and get back to us. Disappointing for sure! January 1, 2015
