I stayed here for an overnight when I had business with Lehigh Athletics. It is very convenient to the athletic part of Lehigh's campus. It is directly off the highway. The restaurant options are limited and all besides Wendy's and a drive-in require a 5-10 min drive. That is my only complaint! The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable!

HIE delivered as usual. Unfortunately, we were assigned a handicap room, but were not sufficiently dissatisfied to ask the desk if another room was available for our two night stay.

The staff was welcoming and helpful. Only sorry that we didn't bring our suits, because the pool looked great.

We experienced cash theft in the room. The front desk said they could not do anything about it because the cash should have been in safe. I agree but perhaps they should screen their employees better. Also I left a ring that grew tight on me in the night under my pillow. Unfortunately I forgot about it and checked out the following morning. It has been 5 days now since we left and if they had honest housekeeping personnel I should I would have been notified by now.
Also they had the right name but another person with the same name and his address. I called it to the attention of the front desk and they assured me I was the correct person to get the bill, but it seems the wrong person got the benefit of the Priority Club Rewards..I didn't!
Okay Hotel, just keep your wits about you so you don't become a victim.

Front Desk Staff were excellent. Fresh cookies at the desk. The room was nicely furnished and comfortable. We were in a junior suite which had a sofa area. The breakfast area was clean and many tables were available. This Holiday Inn Express served a better breakfast than did others that we stayed in during the same week. There was a small exercise area with treadmills and bikes. The TV did however struggle to find a signal at times and there wasn't much to do in the immediate area. This is the only con that I can think of.

We have made the Hellerton HIE our stop of choice on our way from New Hampshire to South Carolina every year. It's the perfect distance for the first day drive, it is immediately off the highway and visible, it is walking distance from an attractive,older town with a real Main Street, and we always look forward to our evening meal at Braveheart Pub to which your staff directed us at our first stay several years ago.
So as long as we are traveling this way we'll be looking forward to coming up your drive way.

For some reason the thermostat keep reseting to 62 degrees. It was a cool night {it snowed] and we set the heat for 72 degrees before we left and when we got back, it reset to 62 degrees and the room was freezing. When I reset the heat for 72 degrees, the unit sounded like cement mixer and ir took forever to get up to temperture. Some time during the night, it went back to 62 degrees. The room was freezing when we got the next morning .Again it took a long time to warm up.

This hotel is right off of Rt. 78 and next door to a Waffle House. Rooms are large and very clean. We didn't use the pool, but our room was on the first floor right across from it, and it looked nice. There were people in the pool, but you couldn't hear anything in our room. The bathroom is especially nice, with plenty of counter space and places to put your cosmetics, etc. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice, with sausage gravy and biscuits, which were good. They also had a pancake machine, which I didn't use. I'd definitely stay here again.
