I always like when I can stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Billings because it is such a nice hotel in a convenient location.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Bad customer service; Tired motel
Very poor management at this hotel. I had a bad experience where they lost my reservation and when I checked in they wanted to charge me $24 more than the price they had quoted me. On top of this, I had just stayed at the motel 3 days earlier at the lower price. AND I had made reservations for both days in person and by calling the hotel directly.
They wouldn't budge on their price even though it was their fault that they lost my reservation at the lower price. Sounds rather convenient doesn't it.
This hotel used to be a very good hotel but it is showing its age. It just looks 'tired.' They need to do a complete remodel and update everything. But most of all, they need to discover what customer service is all about.

I stayed a year ago and at that time mde the decision that I would not stay again, but I tried it one more time.
We arrived to a toilet that was backed up and someone had turned the water off to the toilet yet the room was rented to us. There was no maintenance person there on the weekend. So the front desk person attempted to fix it while we were out to dinner. We were told it was fixed but the "be careful", Really how do you be careful when using the toilet, you use it or not. Sure enough it plugged up again immediately. So we waited until the next morning to call about it again, and again no maintenance person. A cleaning person came and was very rude about it.
I will NEVER stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Billlings, I was disappointed twice.

After traveling from Alabama for several days it was really nice to meet the friendly staff at this hotel. Not only did they greet me as a member they also did some checking and got me the lowest rate for the discounts that I had.
Breakfast was great and it is always the same where ever you go.

THis Holiday Inn is on the new side and threrefore clean, I would stay here again.

Outstandind service from the beginning check in through the check out.
Breakfast was great, good assortment of items.
Amazingly clean room.

We loved our stay at the Billings Holiday Inn. The free breakfast in the morning is always a plus. And great food to choose from. We were only there for one night but would definitely stay again.

We were traveling through Montana for a funeral and were not offered any type of deal on room. I always thought there was a special for certain circumstances, especially on weekdays. The front desk was not helpful at all with getting us a room number to order food ahead of time. Overall the experience left bad taste in my mouth in regards to Holiday Inn Express. It may have been the circumstances and how tired we were, but I thought that was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in as far as service in my lifetime and will not be frequenting again as long as I can help it.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad review, but felt it needed to be said.
