We were pleasantly surprised with the comfort of this hotel. The design of the bathroom was very clever with the bathroom door doubling up as a toilet door if two people wanted to use at the same time. Breakfast was better than we were expecting. Good value for money.

enjoyed our stay here ,good value for money,only downside was cost of rooms deducted 2 months before our actually stay felt this not explained clearly when booking .staff very hellpfull and pleasant .excellent pub next door to hotel that served good food..Rooms and bed linen excellent.
Breakfast was a let down eggs overcooked sausages inedible and no bacon.
would recommend this hotel

myself, mum and sister came to stay at your hotel to go to the christmas market we had a enjoyable time at both. the room was lovely and clean and comfortable as was the rest of hotel , the staff we very polite on arriving and for giving directions to market . the breakfastat the hotel was ok .

Great location for the xmas markets but would also be handy for a shopping trip to the city.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Parking beneath the hotel is handy.

Stayed in November 2012 during the German Christmas Market. Room was clean, comfortable and well presented. Staff were both friendly and welcoming, and assisted us with directions etc. Breakfast was basic, but adequate and at the price we were not in a position to complain. Overall an enjoyable stay at a hotel that we would use again.

This hotel was in an excellent for the NIA, only took 10 minutes to walk along the canal path
Very easy access walking into the town centre, not far away
The hotel was very clean, rooms spacious,all the staff were very helpfull and the breakfasts were very good with lots of choice
I would recommend this hotel as a good hotel to stay

Tricky location to find, and a little bit further out of town that we expected, but overall a very comfortable stay was had.
Facilities and services were top notch, and definitely exceeded my expectations.

A good hotel located in heart of the city. Close to action. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were OK, although a lack of toileties is always annoying. Television is old and not LCD. Cable programs were not available.
However, all in all a good value.

Brilliant staff, really helpful. Hotel v. Central to everything and in walking distance. Secure parking good too. Some noise at night from street below but only to be expected on a Friday night in a town. Excellent breakfast. Would recommend and visit again.

As a Priority Club member I have stayed at many Holiday Inns and this hotel was great, clean and close to everything. A two minute to the main street. I am happy I stayed there as it is just close enough to everything yet not in the middle of everything and quiet off the hustle & bustle. Definitely would stay there again!

We have stayed at this hotel a few times and will be back at the end of november this hotel is of a very good standard and the staff are very helpfull and polite,I was only missing one thing when we went this time from the breakfast was bacon they used to serve it (not for me but my wife does not eat sausages) I do! nice.Please get some bacon in for the last week in november When we will be back

We arrived after 9pm which I know is fairly late but there were no spaces available in the underground car park, they were either so tight that neither of us would be able to open our doors or there was a bollard in them, there must've been about 20 spaces with bollards in but I've no idea why. There just weren't enough parking spaces and at £12 per car this really isn't acceptable, luckily we did eventually find a space but we weren't impressed, which is a shame as the room, staff and breakfast were great!

Pleasant city centre location, building appears new, everything clean and well presented. Pleasant check-in staff, room relatively basic, good size and clean.
Thought I would get a 'continental' breakfast - pleasantly surprised that there were scrambled eggs and other elements of an 'English' breakfast (bacon / sausage - don't know, did not have them for personal dietary reasons) available, which was a bonus.
Car park a little difficult to find - at the back of the property; might benefit from better signposting and was relatively expensive...
Overall very pleased and hope to return when next in Birmingham.

I found that myself and my colleagues' stay at Holiday Inn Express Birmingham City Centre very exhilarating, not only did they make us feel welcome at arrival but we found the staff to be very appeasing throughout our stay there.
I would definitely recommend Holiday Inn Hotels to anybody visiting for business or leisure.

The location is excellent, just moments from the central canal area yet in a quiet street with excellent parking facilities.
The rooms were well decorated, comfortable and the entire building was immaculate.
Very pleasant staff who were efficient and quick with check in and out the following morning.
Considering the decor, parking facilities, location and overall cleanliness, this hotel represents remarkably good value for money!
Would definately reccomend and will definately stay here on my next visit.
