The mattress in our room was much too soft to be comfortable. Although the breakfast had the usual variety of foods, the juice was so watered down that it was more like flavored water. On the positive side, the room was clean.

The hotel is similar to most Holiday Inn Express hotels with the exception of a challenging driveway from the access road. It twists and is at a very steep incline.
Additionally, the hot and cold water indicators were reversed in the bathroom. I have to believe this was noted in a contractors punch list and the hotel chose to accept the error. This leaves weary travelers waiting for the water to heat up...

Nice exterior, basic but comfortable sleeping rooms. The bed was very nice and comfy but the overall room can use an overhaul.

The staff was lovely an so welcoming. If I ever return to Birmingham I will plan on staying here.

Stayed here as I had an early flight. This was convenient to the highway. Note: If you leave prior to breakfast know that McDonald's down the street isn't open early either. Had a guest arrive late that was into slamming their door - inconsiderate guest - not the hotel's fault, but noisy.
