Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable Overnighter. Hotel is new but a little pricy for the area. May be a seasonal issue. No evidence of anything to do in town. Restaurant choices very limited. Great hotel for passing through but could not recommend extended stay. August 12, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Satisfied guest Family of 4 stayed two nights during high season (hotel sold out). Room was as expected for Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast included all the usual: cold cereal, many instant oatmeals, pancakes, hot and cold eggs, breakfast meat, warm cinnamon rolls, bananas, apples, good variety of toasting breads & bagels, etc. We used the washer & dryer units and they worked fine. Parking was a little bit scant because hotel full. Room was very quiet even though near front desk. Prices were a bit high for HEX but this was peak season. Hotel location is walking distance to everything in town--the excellent Chinese restaurant, the famous Schat's Bakkery, even movie theater. Would definitely stay here again in Bishop. August 6, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good for overnighter. Great staff...friendly,helpful, knowledgeable. The price of the room was rather up there, but not sure how the other hotels/motels in the area compare. I only have two unfavorable comments about the room we stayed in..The mattress needs to be replaced..and stains on carpet need to be cleaned. Breakfast good selection, dining area very clean..needs to have more seating. Nice, clean indoor pool and hot tub. August 6, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Made online res with flexibility for cancelling and paid extra for the privilege... called night before at 7p to cancel. Mgt said no that the policy is to cancel by 6p (one hour, really?!); yet, policy no where on my printed res -- assumed somewhere on internet and with that drove 17 hours the next day to get there. Arrived with 14 year old golden retriever that I had paid extra for on my reservation; fortunately, it was on my print out. Upon arrival, desk said we have no record of your dog, out of dog rooms, sorry you have to go elsewhere. HUH?? After several comments like "I'm sorry, there is nothing I can do", she did come up with a room with 2 queens (res for a king). We were VERY happy about that. Arrived in room, stained carpet, stained chairs, and it literally stunk. Who is fussy after 17 hours of driving?? We've stayed in many "dog rooms" before and understand they are the bottom of the barrel for every hotel but this was pretty vile. We needed a room and just rolled with it; however, in hindsight, it is most obvious this hotel's management could have cared less. I felt bad for the desk clerk who seemed to be the messenger to me; although she never said that. August 6, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay in Bishop I was in Bishop for business (but I wish it was for pleasure). I had a wonderful stay. The rooms are clean, super comfortable bed, great shower with the perfect water temperature and pressure. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty. Terrific location with plenty of parking. Within walking distance of good restaurants and shopping on Main Street. August 5, 2014
