My crew works in Bishop about three times a year. We need 6 to 8 rooms and stay on average two days. We have never had any issues with this hotel. We have always been treated well.

Like an oasis, we were thrilled to find a Holiday Inn Express in Bishop after a full day of driving and exploring Death Valley. Not having a reservation, we were relieved that they had just the room we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful at check-in, even referring us to a good local spot for dinner. We took full advantage of the 12:00 noon checkout that allowed for some restful vacation time.
There were international guests at the hotel and the staff did a great job of handling their needs as well.

When looking at the list of accommodations in Bishop, I intentionally chose to pay a bit more based on what I expected from a Holiday Inn. I was surprised at the stained carpet, torn shower mat, and dirty bathroom vent in our room, as well as the broken equipiment in the fitness center. Staff was friendly and we had a good night's sleep, but I was disappointed.

This hotel seems to have thought of everything. We enjoyed going into the Spa and having towels right there when we needed them. Never like using the bath towels to dry off after using the pool or spa.
Wonderful room for the price. Central to everything in town.

This property is a nice place for an overnight stay on the way through Bishop on Highway 395. It is very helpful to have the breakfast after a comfortable night's sleep.

I would like to see more sports on your television. You didn't have any access to fox sports that show the Angels. I liked the cleanliness of the rooms overall and like the amount of pillows available. The outside noise was at a minimum and liked the convenience of staying on the first floor. Would recommend to others who would like a nice place to stay.

From the moment I entered the lobby, the staff was smiling, friendly and very helpful. Rooms are nice and comfortable, breakfast was great. Don't miss the pancake making machine! I want one at home.

I have traveled all of my professional career and chosen Holiday in as my go to hotel.
I average 60-100 Holiday Inn nights a year, and have for the last 25 years,
With such a schedule, things often get out of whack, and this happened to me the weekend of May 31,2014, when I was forced by a schedule change to try to eliminate the room charge for less than a 24 hour cancellation.
To make it more personable, I elected to come to the hotel in person, and talk to staff. Which added three hours to my trip.
The Young lady on the desk did all she could, and was very helpful, within the limits of her position. (Janeen?)
The net net is that I was refused my request for relief on the no show clause and will be billed $a bunch plus tax as a no show. And so far I have no travel points in my account for that "investment." Which does not surprise me.
This is NOT what I call professional, and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. And in all the travels over the years this is the first time that I have been refused the cancellation. Most hotels react favorably to my business loyalty.
Bishop is a beautiful area, but watch out for the absentee ownership of this property, and his staff, who have only their profits in mind.

My overall experience was very good at this facility. It started at arrival entering a clean facility. I was greeted warmly and check-in was very quick. The room was well maintained and clean. The maid service was very good. I enjoyed my stay there.

Shane at the front desk makes you feel like family. Best welcome we have ever received at a hotel. Breakfast is great, restaurant quality. Good Job. We stay in hotels over 100 nights a year. Shane and Roseville turned us from Hampton Inn's to Holiday Inn Express.

I arrived on Sunday (March 30, 2014). Went to the bathroom and urine in toilet. I called the front desk and they had someone come clean.
I was getting ready to lay in the bed and noticed that the sheets has been used and hair on them. Upon further inspection the sheets were untucked. Not sure if the bed was just re-made or someone used the room after the maid cleaned the room. I went down to the front desk and asked for new sheets and said I would re-make the bed. The front desk brought me sheets and I then asked that the towels be replaced too since I did not know if clean or not. This seem to put her out. She came back and I said these sheets were used. The front desk person said "I disagree" and walked away. I changed the sheets and towels.
The room furniture is cheap and the carpets are older. The plug cover was off behind one of the nightstands and when do maids put tip envelopes in rooms? Never seen that.
Keep your eyes open.

This hotel is perfect to stay in Bishop.
The rooms are spacious & the beds are comfortable. The front desk was very nice and helpful. WE stay there every time there is a snowstorm and we cannot get over the passes until the storm passes.

First Surprise; Does not honor Military rate for leave or travel not on orders. Not the practice at several other Inns we have stayed recently.
Second: Nonsmoking property but twice smokers lit up near the entrance. Second time at 1:00 am with some loud talking just below our second floor window.

Unfortunately we had to have the dog room as had our dog with us and I knew we would not get the choice hotel room, but during the middle of the week, I would have thought they would try to avoid putting people in the upstairs room over where a dog was! Unfortunately, the people above us were NOT there to sleep and the noise was ridiculous until the wee morning hour and our dog was very unsettled!

As a Holiday Inn, this play definitely needs a facelift. The carpets are filthy and that makes for a really unpleasant feeling. If they only put in new carpets, it would be ok. The location is great, the staff is friendly and try really hard to please you, but the place just needs to be cleaner!
