Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good for overnighter. Great staff...friendly,helpful, knowledgeable. The price of the room was rather up there, but not sure how the other hotels/motels in the area compare. I only have two unfavorable comments about the room we stayed in..The mattress needs to be replaced..and stains on carpet need to be cleaned. Breakfast good selection, dining area very clean..needs to have more seating. Nice, clean indoor pool and hot tub. August 6, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Made online res with flexibility for cancelling and paid extra for the privilege... called night before at 7p to cancel. Mgt said no that the policy is to cancel by 6p (one hour, really?!); yet, policy no where on my printed res -- assumed somewhere on internet and with that drove 17 hours the next day to get there. Arrived with 14 year old golden retriever that I had paid extra for on my reservation; fortunately, it was on my print out. Upon arrival, desk said we have no record of your dog, out of dog rooms, sorry you have to go elsewhere. HUH?? After several comments like "I'm sorry, there is nothing I can do", she did come up with a room with 2 queens (res for a king). We were VERY happy about that. Arrived in room, stained carpet, stained chairs, and it literally stunk. Who is fussy after 17 hours of driving?? We've stayed in many "dog rooms" before and understand they are the bottom of the barrel for every hotel but this was pretty vile. We needed a room and just rolled with it; however, in hindsight, it is most obvious this hotel's management could have cared less. I felt bad for the desk clerk who seemed to be the messenger to me; although she never said that. August 6, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay in Bishop I was in Bishop for business (but I wish it was for pleasure). I had a wonderful stay. The rooms are clean, super comfortable bed, great shower with the perfect water temperature and pressure. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty. Terrific location with plenty of parking. Within walking distance of good restaurants and shopping on Main Street. August 5, 2014

They have a 24-hour cancellation policy - so be sure you know you are going to be able to make it - otherwise, just make a reservation somewhere else. Also, there is no oversized parking available - so if you're pulling a trailer of have an extended vehicle, stay somewhere else. The room and bathroom were average and were clean enough, but the carpet was old and needs to be updated. July 31, 2014

I believe it was considered High Season, but felt it was beyond "fair market value" for this stay. Other than that, we were basically comfortable during our stay. July 27, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel...except for the location of the elevator. Elevator was located at the back of the hotel. Our room was on the second floor on the opposite end. Would have liked a centrally located elevator. Other than that, the stafff was friendly, the room was clean and the fitness center and pool were clean. Would stay here again but request a room closer to the elevator. July 20, 2014

After my four hour drive to Bishop I always look forward to my arrival at the hotel and taking a nap. The rooms are quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful and reflect the quality of the hotel. My room is always ready for me. The common area and pool are always clean and look great. The TV selection is better than at my home. I have stayed at other Bishop hotels and for the money this is the best choice. July 19, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Checkout at noon! Like an oasis, we were thrilled to find a Holiday Inn Express in Bishop after a full day of driving and exploring Death Valley. Not having a reservation, we were relieved that they had just the room we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful at check-in, even referring us to a good local spot for dinner. We took full advantage of the 12:00 noon checkout that allowed for some restful vacation time. There were international guests at the hotel and the staff did a great job of handling their needs as well. July 6, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not up to standards When looking at the list of accommodations in Bishop, I intentionally chose to pay a bit more based on what I expected from a Holiday Inn. I was surprised at the stained carpet, torn shower mat, and dirty bathroom vent in our room, as well as the broken equipiment in the fitness center. Staff was friendly and we had a good night's sleep, but I was disappointed. July 2, 2014

Never like using the bath towels to dry off after using the pool or spa. Wonderful room for the price. Central to everything in town. June 27, 2014

I liked the cleanliness of the rooms overall and like the amount of pillows available. The outside noise was at a minimum and liked the convenience of staying on the first floor.
