Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't stay here until renovation is complete Checking into this hotel is like checking into a war zone. The place in undergoing a complete renovation and is a complete mess. I was not warned about this when I booked directly with this location. Had I been told the building is a complete construction zone I would have gone elsewhere. I've staying in many Holiday Inns on business trips and this was the worst experience. Most Holiday Inns are very nice. The rooms in this Inn take me back to the 60's - small and packed with cheap furniture. Difficult to move around, relax, very few electrical outlets. It should have been closed, knocked down, and replaced with a modern Holiday Inn. November 21, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by RUDE STAFF! the staff was rude, denied me my early check in (which was confirmed through them when i called to make my reservation) and the place is under construction so its just an over all pain. the construction prevented me from being able to relax after 12 hours of travel (after i was finally allowed to even check in 4 hours later than i was supposed to be allowed to) nothing about this hotel was pleasant! especially with as rude as the staff is! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Old Run down property~ getting revitalized The good news, I gained IHG points, the bad news the condition of the hotel. I was expecting a guest and they were unable to enter the hotel due to the sticking (not locked) door. Although construction going on, there are dirty areas all around the common areas, workers at 0700 in the morning and dark dingy entrance to find at night. Not well lit or marked. November 19, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Just overnight stay Met daughter at Minneapolis airport after her 7-hour flight. She was tired and needing shower/rest. Hotel was completely surrounded by construction equipment, unable to locate proper door for entry. Front desk attendant did not give me eye contact or nod, or any indication we were standing there. He was on the phone, but capable of doing so. The room was clean and welcoming. The shower was not hot, not even really warm and whistled very loudly. This is not what I expected from the Holiday Inn. November 17, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Youth Group Outing In spite of a construction project, The stay was great. This was a very convenient place to stay. The group was headed to the Mall of America, so this was a perfect place to stay. Also great if you are flying out of Minneapolis/St. Paul airport...very close. The kids enjoyed the pool and swam until bedtime. November 16, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Renovation in progress When I made my reservations, there was no notification that construction and renovations was taking place. If I would have known, I would have made reservations at a different property. The room was run down and not worth the price paid. Was not very happy with the experience, and neither were the two other adults in the room. I do realize that renovations are taking place to make the experience better in the future, but since no notification was made that construction was in progress, it made it very uncomfortable stay at this location. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel next to MOA and MSP My family and I stayed for one night before flying out of MSP the next morning. The exterior and lobby were under construction, which shows the management cares about the overall quality and upkeep of the hotel. Our room was clean and quiet with no issues. The breakfast was typical continental fair, but warn and the eating space was pleasant. I did notice that the shuttle driver went out of his way to see who was riding, and tell them to enjoy their breakfast and he would come tell them when he was leaving. Now that's Minnesota nice! We did not use the pool and other facilities, but they were in good condition. Overall it's not 5 star, but for the price and type of hotel it is, it's a recommended stay. November 14, 2015
