Just the breakfast area is too small for the amount of guest, employees were working their tail off to ensure everybody was pleased and their effort was top notched. Management at the corporate level needs to listen to their needs. Rooms were ok and so does the pool and service from front desk. July 12, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Feels more like an older Holiday than a Holiday Express The room did not seem as modern as most Holiday Inn Express' that I've stayed at recently. The room was clean, but not updated. There was a sharp piece of metal sticking out from underneath the bed frame on one side. We were lucky we noticed it before stepping on it as we got out of bed. The shower made a high-pitched noise when ran on high. The wifi was terrible. Constantly going in and out to the point that it was basically not useable. Great breakfast, clean, good price for the location. Requested "lowest floor possible".. were placed on the very top floor at the room farthest on the end. So "lowest floor possible" got me the very farthest room possible. July 7, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good place to stay to see the Twins This Holiday Inn Express is a great place to stay to see the Minnesota Twins, just take the hotel bus to the Mall,then take the light rail to Target field( you need the 6 hour pass) . Go to game !! , then take the light rail back to the Mall and the motel bus will pick you up. No traffic, no parking cost, no hassle !! July 6, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Average but clean The hotel was extremely busy due to a number of events. Our room was late being clean and had to wait to check in. The rooms are small but the beds are comfortable other than the tiny pillows. During peak time the water isn't hot and he drains slow. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was decent. Customer service is very good and the entire staff very pleasant. Suitable for a one or two night stay but longer stays especially with a family is a bit cramped. July 3, 2014

Also there were some issues with the staff when booking (I was double booked and it took about a week or so to get the credit card situation sorted out). The price was fair for what we got, but this hotel gets nothing more than an average score. Again room was very small.... June 30, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Don't stay here This was the worst experience I have had at Holiday Inns. They are normally excellent with service friendliness and cleanness, this was the exception. The room was way below standards as far as being clean, the bathroom floor was dirty and didn't get any better after we requested it to be cleaned for day 2. The mirror in the bedroom looked as it hadn't been cleaned in a month. The heavy curtains had holes in them. The worst was the inside of the shuttle van that took us to Mall of America, it was filthy and the driver was very rude. The most positive part of our stay was the breakfast area and the kitchen attendants. They did a great job of service and friendliness. Also the power went out during our stay, not the hotels fault but the flippant attitude of the staff was terrible, we had to carry our luggage from the fourth floor to the lobby as the elevators were inoperable. Know staff came to help our even put notices on the elevators access doors to inform people. Very disorganized and rude. Way overpriced for this dirty and unfriendly hotel June 30, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor standards of cleanliness We were excited to find a hotel room near the Mall of America, but the room was cramped and had room darkening drapes that didn't close all the way. Worst of all, we found a man's toenail clippings IN THE BED. Totally gross. We high tailed it out of there and checked into a better caliber of hotel. June 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good sleep! My daughter had flown into Minneapolis from Anchorage and her flight was delayed about 3 hours. The parking was closeby, safe, and well lit. The desk clerk was very welcoming even though we were late. She was also helpful giving directions to a nice restaurant. I used the fitness center the next morning and grabbed fruit and coffee for the room. The staff was approachable and friendly in all aspects. June 27, 2014

I have stayed at this hotel more then once and if I get the same service at the front desk again I will not be coming back. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Stay! This hotel was a nice stay, but nothing fancy. We reserved a room with a king bed and a pull-out sofa. The room included a mini-fridge and a microwave and bonus: the room was large enough to actually pull out of the sofa and still move around! The selling point for us was that they also offer a shuttle to Mall of America every hour on the hour, so you don't have to worry about parking. It was only about 15 minutes from the airport. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff, Friendly, We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express by the Mall of America in Minneapolis and we had a great stay the Staff was very helpful, we felt very welcomed, we ride with a group of motor cyclist sometimes we are not welcomed into hotels but we had a great room and we were very wet and cold from ridding in the rain and the staff got us in the common area and got our rooms as fast as they could. we did get there a little early then check in, but as soon as the rooms where clean and ready they where calling us to them. and the check in was so fast... loved staying there... Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Overall not the standard experience I was not satisfied with the Hotel experience that I would expect from IHG. Points that I did not like, 1) No welcome gift with Water as the reception, in fact when i asked I was told there is no water, which means I did not get water plus I was not even offered points instead. 2) In the bathroom Towels of the earlier guest were still there behind the bathroom door. 3) After my first night I found that the bath tub was not cleaned by the cleaning staff as I stayed 2 nights. The room was clean, shuttle bus was good with the exception of the one time that the shuttle was late picking us up from MOA, otherwise I did not have any problems and the Manager, deducted $20.00 from my bill. Internet access worked wonderfully, had a problem when I tried to put in the access code and customer service walked me through the process. However; I was not a fan of their breakfast though. Rooms were clean, customer service outstanding, beds were very comfortable. The only issued that I had was the shuttle service that was provided, the person was over an hour late--(leaving MOA) but the manager did rectify this by taking $20.00 off the bill and allowed me to get some items free from their store. Other than that we had great time and we would definitely come again in the near future. The residents of Bloomington were also very pleasant. June 16, 2014

I have traveled a lot in the past month and try to use Holiday Inn. Each time upon check in, I was getting 2 or 3 options. Water / snacks, free drink or the 300 points. But at this property, when offered the water, I asked about the 300 points and was told it was for Gold members. I am a Gold member. When traveling for business, I am on an expense account, I don't need free water. I didn't challenge the desk clerk as she seemed distracted anyway, but I noticed that the sleeve for the keys didn't reflect my points balance, normally it does. If they had done their prep, I could have received the points. June 10, 2014
