Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by May 16-17, 2016. Poor experiencedue to construction! I recently stayed tat this hotel and had a terrible experience because the hotel was being renovated. The entire hotel including my floor was really not suitable for guests because of the construction environment. I was not alerted ahead of time and received no concessions due to this inconvenience. I have experienced some "Please excuse us while we renovate" situations, but this was very bad. Construction workers were in every hall. The smell of paint and plaster was awful. I can't believe they accepted reservations during this construction without notification or offering price break. Completely inappropriate! The staff was very nice and my room inside was fine, but no one apologized for or even mentioned the terrible situation. May 23, 2016

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Working construction site: should not be open. I stayed at this property last week. It is undergoing major renovations and is a complete mess. Let's start with parking lot. Apparently the lot is also used by for bus and truck parking - probably the least inviting exterior of any hotel I ever visited. I had to enter the hotel through a side door and there were Hand tools left by workers in the middle of the hall, which is bare drywall, by the way. My room and bed smelled strongly of sawdust and plaster. When I got up there were hard hat guys working in the hall. This was at 5:30 am. Just a horrible experience. May 15, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by newly updated rooms Everything was great about the stay, including the beautiful new rooms. The hotel is under renovations so there is the typical stuff with that (some inconvenience), but we knew this ahead of time. The location is great for travel to the airport and to MOA, as we did both. My only complaint, and this was shared by all 4 of us, was that the pillows were uncomfortable and there wasn't a choice of firmness options. The staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.
