After leaving my home at 4:00 a.m., driving to the airport, flying in to Min., MN, going directly to work, then out to dinner and finally getting to hotel to check-in - the front desk was very pleasant, and speedy. The rooms were very clean. Being as I was by myself, I didn't have to walk down long halls, so I felt safe. It was very quite and could not hear people talking in the hall. Being as I had to work through lunch the next day, I wanted a big breakfast, it was not the greatest. They had good biscuts, but.....turkey bacon to put on it, but that was about it for the biscuts. Without eggs or cheese or even sausage sauce to put on them, it made them dry. Breakfast would be about the only negative thing about my stay. The young lady who attended to the breakfast was very good at replenishing and she was friendly.

We stay in a lot of Holiday Inns and are usually very happy with our stay. That being said, this was one of the better ones. Our room was upgraded before we arrived, which gave us more room to spread out our stuff. There was a refrigerator and microwave. They even had some plates up in a cabinet. It would be great if they had some plastic silverware and napkins, but not a huge deal.
The room was clean and comfortable. The halls were quiet even though the place was packed with people. My only complaint with the room is that it didn't seem like the pillows were as good as they are at some Holiday Inn Express hotels. They had the same "firm" and "soft" labels on the pillow cases but they weren't comfortable at all. The pool was remarkably warm, however, there is no hot tub. All in all, it was a good place to stay and we will stay again next time we are in the area.
