Declined the welcome bonus for being a gold member as I am allergic to nuts, did not receive the 300 bonus points. Contact IHG about my missing points, they said I needed to go back to the hotel and ask. not work my time, disappointed they didn't process the bonus correctly.

While the hotel was clean and the rooms nice, I didn't feel this was a good value for the rate we paid. Perhaps all the hotels within 20 miles of Mall of America are overpriced, because I'm sure I've paid much less for more in other areas that are not such tourist-traps. The breakfast was the biggest disappointment. The selections were limited and the staff did a terrible job of replenishing them - particularly the hot items. I'm not sure I'd stay here again.

The hotel is very nice and we had a great 2 night stay. The lobby breakfast area and rooms are kept very clean and are very comfortable. The thing that makes this hotel shine is the staff and the service. We received the best service we have ever received at a hotel, every single employee exemplified the meaning of great customer service. A special shout out to the evening shuttle driver and the gentleman who was at the front desk in the morning shift. Both men were absolutely wonderful.
The breakfast was mediocre at best, and the eggs were terrible. Also we were disappointed that there was no hot tub, but the pool temperature was warm enough to alleviate our disappointment a little.
Overall, the quality of the surroundings and the service made up for the average breakfast and lack of hot tub. We visit this area frequently to visit our son, and will definitely stay at this hotel in the future.
