Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Room smelled like smoke 322 is or as we were told a non smoking room for over a year and we were told that it was professionally cleaned but the smell was still present. Being a painter and dealing with smoke smell I would suggest priming and painting ceiling and also hanging new wall paper to kill the smell. August 20, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful vacation! We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights so we could go to Knoebles. The hotel staff was very friendly and they worked with us on getting conjoined rooms as I requested. The breakfast was very Good those cinnamon buns are to die for! The pool was very Clean and I loved that they had pool towels down there because we forgot ours! The location is good too there's a few different places to eat close by. I will defeinitely be staying at this hotel next year when we plan our summer vacation to Knoebles again! August 18, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Saved by the Holiday This was a great stay. It came recommended and the customer service was great from the reservation line to the front desk clerk. Our family was traveling through the night trying to reach a different hotel where we had already made a reservation. Due to heavy traffic we were unable to make it all the way there and it was getting very late. We were thankful that our other hotel chain, Marriott was willing to cancel our night even though we were past the cancelation time due to the circumstances of our ETA being at about 2:00am. We still had about 3 hours to arrive there. They were the ones who had recommended Holiday Inn Express and gave us the reservation number. We called and the reservation people were very friendly and prompt in helping us find an upcoming exit with a Holiday Inn Express. Not familiar at all with the area we were traveling through we were very lucky and fortunate to be placed in such a great hotel. Driving through the mountains late at night can be very tiresome and we were very weary travelers. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. After giving us a room we went up and it smelled like smoke although all the rooms in the hotel were considered smoke free. We made the front desk clerk aware of this and he quickly found us another room. The hotel was very nice and well kept. The breakfast was great. The price I felt was a little steep given that there wasn't much around the area but it was still a very nice stay. We were very thankful to find such a great place even on a very short notice. We wanted to stop because we wanted to be safe and this hotel provided the rest and relaxation that we needed to be ready to continue our journey home the next day. I will definitely consider staying again if I ever find myself in this city again. July 19, 2013

Housekeeping went above beyond when a staff member called Vicki chased us into the parking lot because we had left two bags in our room after check out. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Beds comfortable and property clean We have stayed here a couple times but was not happy with service regarding our reservations. Well in advance we had requested a handicap accessible room. I had asked about the bathroom and if there was a bench or roll in shower. We called two days before and they said they did not reserve a handicap room. They only reserved the three rooms we had requested but not one of them HC accessible. Called back the next day and was told it was correct. When we checked in the room it was for hearing disabled and not physically disabled. Fortunately they were able to switch us since the hotel was full. But the confusion definitely made us question if we should book here again when we visit Knoebels. July 6, 2013

Although my room was clean, I could not sleep do to the elevator and outside noise. Also, the staff told me the Holiday Inn Express stopped supplying lotion in the rooms to cut cost. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by poor customer service I work in the gas field and stay at Holiday Inn's when we are out of town. We had to stay at this Holiday Inn due to bad weather and were unable to make it any further. When I went to check in the clerk asked me for my credit card to pay for the room, which I did not have because it is a "community card" among the employees. The card information is in your data base so when I need to stay they just look it up. She insisted that she needed written permission from the card owner to process the transaction. The clerk was very rude when I tried to explain to her that I was the card owner (the card has my name on it). I even offered to show her my Priority Club Rewards card. I ended up having to pay with my personal debit card just to stay. Needless to say, I will not be staying at this hotel again because of the poor customer service I received. January 2, 2013

Overall the breakfast that is served is of good quality, I would appreciate a larger variety of bread for toasting but I have no complaints at all. I think I get good value for the money. The breakfast was slightly dry and predictable, nothing to make it stand out from other hotels. The fitness center equipment is uncomfortable to use and is in somewhat poor condition. The hotel allowed me to have a 1 pm check out which was very helpful for my business needs. This was the second time I stayed at this location and there will be others. October 21, 2012

I base this on me not allowed to eat anything with eggs. Cream beef and bacon would have been wonderful. But that's me. I think the price was a little on the over priced side. But that's not their fault, that's corporates fault. They can not please every person with allergies. We would definately stay there again. October 21, 2012

Never had an opportunity to try out the breakfast. This was a business trip not pleasure. Pillows are lumpy you may want to ask at front desk if they have better ones there, otherwise everything was excellent. October 16, 2012
