The room was clean, comfortable and up to date. The Staff were very helpful and the breakfast included pancakes, sausage, eggs and biscuits among the usual assortment of cakes, cereal and juices that you might expect. The pool was large , roomy and clean. If you're looking for a place that will give you the comforts of the larger chains without breaking the bank than this is it. It was also close to a lot of the attractions I was interested in and away from the hustle and bustle of the Boone/Appalachian State area.

The motel is comfortable and the price is OK. The breakfast is good, but there are oversites that detract significantly from the overall comfort of the room. There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom which causes the room to be steamy after a shower and allows odors to linger after one uses the toilet. Because of the counter over the toilet, the toilet seat will not stay in the raised position without being held. The lamp between the two beds did not allow one person to read in bed without shining in the face of the other person who was trying to sleep. On our departure day, one elevator was out of service.

Nice stay. The motel was remodeled 3 years ago. Looked very nice. The wife and I walked to the Outback for supper. Over all experience was top of the line.

We booked at the Hoiday Inn in blowing rock as a last minute spring break getaway before the kids went back to school. The location was great! It was away from all the hustle of Boone and located close to the outlet mall. The staff at the front desk was very nice & answered all our questions. The pool was on the small side but it was heated & the kids enjoyed the pool for a couple of hours before bedtime. The room was very clean & adequate for our needs. The free breakfast was good and had a variety of hot & cold items. We go to the Boone/ Blowing Rock area often for overnight & weekend getaways and we have found the only hotel we will be staying at when we are in the area.

My husband booked us here for a 2-night getaway. I was a little wary since I don't travel much and when I do we normally stay in resorts. I was COMPLETELY impressed with our entire stay. Very friendly and helpful staff and extremely clean hotel. Our room was updated nicely, very clean, comfy bed and I loved the shower pressure and temperature (hot as I wanted). We both loved the breakfast each morning... wonderful selection, clean, tasty. Nice indoor pool. Wonderful value, we would definitely stay here again!

Was able to book only one of the two nights we wanted to stay in Blowing Rock. The hotel management assisted us after the fact in being able to stay the additional night in the same room with the same rate. They were very helpful and intent on making our stay a memorable one.
