Why I rate this hotel and staff so high is because they are always there for me. Breakfast is always outstanding and beds are always relaxing. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

The state of South Carolina is under a state of emergency. At 4 PM there were not open restaurants/fast food restaurants/ gas stations open to be able to get food. Upon my check-in, a mother with small children asked the front desk helper what they could do about food. This family had been flooded out of their home with nothing but themselves. The guy told them to use the vending machine. We all know there is nothing of substance or of nutritional value for a hungry stomach of a child. I asked the Holiday Inn employee if he could possibly get some food from the kitchen that is served for breakfast. His response was "I ain't cooking eggs." I asked him if we could at least have some packets of oatmeal or yogurt or milk and he said no. I offered to pay for these items for this family and myself. He said no. I was traveling and staying for work. This family was staying because they lost their home. I am appalled that this employee could let children go hungry with zero empathy. He did not greet me as an IHG rewards member and my points were not applied to my stay appropriately. This is is far less of a concern than watching children go to sleep with no food. This is be my last time staying at a Holiday Inn. If showing compassion in a state of crisis is not allowed by this company, they will not being getting any of my money.

Heating/AC system very loud and could not be turned off. Bathroom fan very loud and could not be turned off without turning of the light. Heating/AV fan loud while trying to sleep. Do not stay at this hotel. First time I had a problem at a HI Express.

Hotel was ideal for what I needed. Very nice room, great breakfast. easy check-in and out- great staff.

The hotel is dated and needs to be renovated. Rust in places. Dust on furniture. Mold smell. Bedding hard. Pillows flat. Great breakfast though. The staff was wonderful.

Comfortable beds and great service. Room we stayed in was for the handicapped. The repairs were very noticeable, such as the caulking in the shower. The shower needed a non slip pad, and overall, the room appeared to need an update. The place was difficult to find, the sign is hidden be trees.
