The young lady who checked us in was super. She was super friendly and helpful. We needed to leave before the breakfast started and she made sure we got a breakfast anyway. I was out of toothpaste and she took care of me as well as giving me a new razor. I enjoyed the stay in this Holiday Inn Express. Thanks

I pass through this area on a regular basis and frequently choose to stay here. The staff is always accommodating and the property is consistently clean and well maintained. The breakfast is not gourmet by any means by there are adequate choices for the health conscious and the sweet lover alike.

After 4 long days on the road with stays at three other HIE's, my wife and I arrived at HIE Bonifay. As the other HIE's, the room was fresh and clean, staff extraordinarily courteous, breakfast good all up to HIE standard. What was the difference? First the room was the quietest of our trek (even though the Inn was full). Second the Inn host was the most outgoingly friendly of the 3 previous Inns. Third his recommendation of a "spectacular" seafood retaurant was absolutely on the mark. Bonifay was an Inn that made us feel very much at home with homelike comfort, cleanliness and hospitality.

This Holiday Inn Express was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again when passing through this part of Florida.

This is a nice newer hotel that is convenient to I-10 but it has a couple of shortcomings. Upon arrival we noticed that parking seemed a bit limited and the spots all seemed to be very narrow. The hotel was not full the night we stayed there but with several large trucks and/or pickups with trailers taking a number of spots we found parking tight. The narrow parking spots also made door chips likely!
Inside we found the hotel to be brightly decorated and clean but the third floor had a very strong odor of stale smoke. The bed sheets and the towels also had a strange and strong odor. The worse problem was that when we took a shower the entry way inside the room flooded badly even though we were extremely careful with the placement of the shower curtain. The wall adjacent to the tub was deteriorated so we suspect there may be a leak in the wall.
The staff is very nice but the hotel, in our opinion, is not as good as most other HIE, even though it is a newer hotel.

Folks,
As a Gold Card member, and a travelling nurse practitioner, I have found that this hotel is an excellent experience. I am quite aware of the cleanliness of my environments, especially when on the road. I rate an experience first on how clean the hotel is and this place is absolutely tops; no dust! Immaculate housekeeping and I highly recommend a stay here. Spend the extra dollars and relax!
The staff is very accommodating as well; no one had a sour attitude. There is only one recommendation, that I will make, and that is that this chain could 1) include more whole foods in the offerings for breakfast, and 2) how about Starbuck's coffee?
So folks, if you are going to stay in Bonifay and think that you just might find a diner for breakfast, forget it, unless you are planning to hit the road first.

If you are going to allow smokers, please do NOT mix rooms on same floor. When you come off the elevator there is an very offensive stench lingering thoughout the hallways. Fortunately, it was not in the rooms. It was so noticable I had to almost hold my breath to until I reached my room. If nothing else at least put in automatic air refresheners throughout the hallway. I didn't visit the second floor to see if it was the same.

Glad to see this Holiday Inn here . Never had much to choose from in this area for lodging until this one came along. I've stayed here numerous times since it opened,and never had any problems at all.
Nice friendly staff,clean,comfortable rooms. Nothing luxurious,but more than adequate. Breakfast is typical Holiday Inn Express fare but has always worked for me. This is my go to place in the Chipley/Bonifay area, as there's certainly nothing else decent in the area unless you drive to Crestview or Panama City. One suggestion though, make sure to ask for non smoking Floor. Even though you get a non smoking room if you're on a smoking floor it can make a difference.

I had another 5 night stay at this location after the Thanksgiving Holiday and this stay was just as good as my first.
I will definitely use this hotel in the future when I am working in the area.

I had a 10 day stay at this HIE location and it will definitely be my hotel of choice whenever I work in the area.
The staff are great,the rooms are nice and the wifi and net speeds are good.

This hotel didn't even recognize my priority club status, although Holiday Inn pride themselves on the fact that you will be recognized upon check-in.

Would definitely return. Would recommend to others. The Inn was recently refurbished and much to our liking. Clean and smelled clean. Recently stayed four nights and felt welcome and comfortable. Beds are comfortable and room was very clean, daily. All employees we encountered were very accomodating. Mrs says the breakfast menu lacked variety. I liked it! Every morning we encountered a pleasant and industrious attendant who had the coffee containers and food warmers full and hot, juice dispensers worked great, cold and tasty. The cinamon rolls! Warm, decadent and aromatic, always there. Beware the Cinamon Rolls! Fast food and a couple of restaurants close by.

The staff on all shifts could not have been more accommodating to us. Their willingness to help us find our way in an unfamiliar area made it possible for us to enjoy our stay to the fullest. We were actually visiting an attraction in a nearby city, but we were so glad we chose to stay at this location instead of the other brand hotels that were closer. It was far nicer and a little less in price.

Holiday inn express alway the same comfortable clean and safe we travel alot during our retirment and have stayed at many other hotels we now only stay at the holidlay inn expresses if possible.
