Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by hookslaw Everything we expected
Our Boston experience was complemented by the excellent service we received while guests at the Holiday Inn Express Boston Garden. The location was also superb for us as we were attending a Celtics game at the Boston Garden. It couldn't have been any better and we will have fond memories of our stay at this facility and hope to return again soon.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by NCordeiro Great Location, Friendly Staff
This was a great location and easy to get to by train from the airport. The Valet staff was exceptionally helpful when it came to getting cabs. They were very helpful and willing to drop everything to help us out. The front desk staff and even the maintenance staff was friendly. We thought we had a broken hair dryer and it turns out, the switch on the plate wasn't pressed in. They were very nice about our amateur oversight.
Thanks everyone at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites, Garden.

I try to stay at this hotel when I am working near downtown Boston, as I did last week. Right across from the Garden, and a 10 minute walk from any downtown destination. Rooms are great. Beds are cozy, bathroom is a little on the small side but the shower works great.
Staff have always been friendly and even the parking staff do a good job.
Would like to see a better egg dish at breakfast but I am being picky. This is a great place to stay when the prices work.

The room was comfortable and quiet, as we are night nurses trying to get some much needed sleep before again going to work, during the last blizzard,Nemo!! I let the Valet know I needed my car for a specific time to get to work and it was waiting for me out front the first day the second day it only took a few minutes for them to bring it to us. Thanks you for a safe and comfortable place to sleep during a stressful storm!!.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by bigbob222 Wonderful stay in boston for a Bruins game vs the Ny Rangers!
My most recent visit to boston had me staying at the Boston garden Holiday Inn express for a Bruins game vs the Ny Rangers. The hotel is right accross the street from TD Garden and I had such a wonderful stay. Free breakfast is included along with a free bottle of water at check in.
The staff at the Boston Garden holiday inn cant be nicer. anything you need they make sure to accmodate you. I dont pack a toothbrush or toothpaste due to airport securit issues and they give you this items free or charge upon request.
The hotel is nice and quiet and well secured at night. I recommend coming here anytime you come to boston.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Chillywillow This seems to be a "tired" property
Staff was great. First floor common areas and workout facilities were on a par (better) than most Holiday Inn properties I visit on business. However, the carpeting, leaking shower, and room cleanliness are not up to Holiday Inn standards. This property needs some investment! I was especially disappointed because I was traveling with family on personal time.

I stayed with your hotel on the night of a Celtics game AND the superbowl. I was able to check in early as requested, and had an amazing room on the 5th floor (501). With it's own kitchenette. These accomodations were extremely appreciated. Though the elevator was down in the am, we were fine with walking up and down only once, while it was fixed. Breakfast was excellent as always. I had a dirty sheet that seemed to have grease on it from the washer or dryer buT the front desk immediatly brought up a new sheet. Thank you so much as always for a great stay, See you in the summer! Keep up the good work!

Stayed two nights in 8 degree weather in January 2013, but my room was toast warm, clean and felt like home. The rooms are a bit smaller than your average hotel room, but it worked very well and had a great boutique feel and look, very nice.
The hotel staff went out of their way to make me feel at home, smiling faces all around.
While public parking is not readily available, the valet parking was awesome on such a cold morning. Some may bark at the $39 a day valet parking price, but public parking blocks away was $35 a day. For $4 dollars I was more than happy to use the valet to collect and park my car in the snow, sleet and ice from several blocks away. Thanks God for those young valet gentlemen.
Would definitely stay her again. Cheers!

I stayed at this hotel between taking commuter rail into the city and flying out from Logan. Very convenient to both. Short walk from North Station and a short cab ride to the airport. Very comfortable room. Suprisingly reasonable rates considering location. Excellent and friendly service. Front desk clerk had me all fixed-up with a cab for my early morning departure.

Traveling during a storm, I decided to layover in Boston for the night.
The staff was warm and welcoming. The room was huge and had a fridge. The location was great if you want to eat a plate of pasta in the North End, and I didn't have to drive in the snow.

While just a block from entrances to the T and to North Station, this property is small and cozy on a side street. Very nice staff, very functional room - it's a good base from which to roam Boston.

Everything else was good but. I find it ridiculous that they charge you 39 USD for a valet service and then if you get there after midight you have to park in a government building 4 blocks away.
Other thatn that it gas good.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sarech Great Hotel - Excellent Service
The first night of my stay I was in a room with a broken heater but it was late and I had an early morning so I asked the front desk to have it looked at the next day. It was nearly impossible to sleep so when I left for the day I double checked with the front desk to make sure someone would take a look at the heater. When I returned that evening, before going upstairs, I was told that it was taken care of. I entered my room and it was still freezing. A second maintenance man came up to check it out and I was eventually moved to another room. My first night was comped for the inconvenience and other than the first repair ticket being ignored, every staff member was helpful and considerate.
The free continental breakfast wasn't anything special but definitely enough to hold me over until lunch. There was only one elevator (not sure if there was another one under construction) so getting upstairs took some time when it was crowded.
Even though my stay started of rough, overall I'd say this is an excellent hotel. Great value and awesome location.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CelticPhil Awesome General Manager and Staff
Three of us Celtic fans from Va recently visited there for three nights to attend Celtic games and sightsee. Our room HVAC was not performing properly, and, after chatting informally with a maintenance worker, Robert, we were moved to an upgraded room with a wonderful view over Causeway Street AND TD Garden ! Not only were Robert and the maintenance supervisor, Bob, very accomodating, caring and friendly in this, the hotel's General manager, Jamie, who ultimately approved our room change, was VERY helpful in recommendating restaurants, bars, sightseeing, etc., and engaged in fun conversations with us. Jamie and his entire staff truely helped make our stay in Boston memorable., and a return trip to Boston AND the Holiday Inn Express is emminent. Thanks, Jamie !!!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by sleeplessnorthend Noise prevented sleep Fri and Sat until 2:30 am due to location
Staff was good at providing a pre-day booking at a lower rate, however it was a 2nd floor handi-cap room without a closet. The rates from online booking were double. This experience put me back to finding Holiday Inn quality being highly uneven. Doubt I'll readily book with Holiday Inn without more information on the site. The room had shades that would not go up (one had a sign on it indicating this) which kept the room dark all of the time - the hall light was sporadically working. The noise level due to location near sports bars prevented much rest until the bars closed and parking lots emptied. Breakfast was good!

We are former locals in town for a wedding who decided to be tourists in our own home town. The location of this hotel was great - right near the Garden and the T, walking distance to the great Italian restaurants in the North End and the historic Fanueil Hall area.
The hotel lobby was nice and updated and had the typical Holiday Inn complimentary breakfast. This is an older hotel. The rooms were a little worn but everything was clean and functional.
The highlight of the stay was their built in tour guide, Allice. When we arrived she was very friendly and helpful. Each morning at breakfast she walked around the breakfast area greeting guests and helping people figure out the logistics of what they were trying to accomplish or making suggestions on other sights they may want to see. She was pleasant and extremely helpful.
Our room was on the back side of the hotel and very quiet. Those on the street looked like they would be a little noisier due to a couple of nearby nightclubs.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MattsR Good service and ventral location
Stayed at this hotel for a week, while visiting a conference in Boston.
Very good location near North Station that take you on subway to the rest of the city. Also close walk from Little Italy with many good restaurants. For a sport buff it is right on top of the sports district with a lot of sports bars and close to the Garden arena.
The staff were very service minded. The breakfast was good but with some unhealthy items as bacon, muffin and cinnamon role.
The corridors and rooms are a little worn. The carpets need a change! OK bathroom and flat screen TV. No safety locker on room.

We stayed using our 'points' and were given an upgrade to a suite with all the facilities we could have wished for. Staff excellent and simple breakfast was more than adequate. Good location for North Terminal rail and walking the Freedom Trail, Beacon Hill etc. Good Sports bar 'The Fours' next door. $15-$18 taxi to/from Boston Logan Airport.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Jc58 Great location, hotel needs updating
Great location, convenient to so much in Boston, but the carpets were old and dated, our room had no air conditioning but it was fairly large. Expensive for what it was, but because it was so close to everything, we had a great time. Staff did what they could to accomodate us, bringing a fan which helped, but it still got hot at night.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Daniel48 Great new location
It is an easy taxi ride from Logan airport, and also very easy using the T. You are walking distance to the Quincy Market area and also the North End for great Italian food.
The hotel is in a quiet area when there is not an event at the Boston Garden directly across the street. I have not experienced this yet during an event, though.
The staff was exceptionally friendly at all levels--front desk, room attendants, and front door/bell captains.
The building is old and historic, but the rooms are very well furnished and comfortable.
This is a place to stay for business as well as pleasure.

Great Location in Boston. Not so good neighborhood. Loud Bands until 2 am each mornings. Small rooms. Limited towel service although they will bring a second towel if requested. No extras at all. A place to sleep and sleep is limited.
Fair stay at best. Not representative of Holiday Inn Priority Membership.
