I stayed 3 nights at the HI Express Boston for a business trip. There was something unusual going on in Boston, as hotel prices were very high at the time throughout the city. The Holiday Inn provided an excellent price-to-value ratio with its clean and comfortable room, included breakfast, reasonably-priced airport transportation, and small, but sufficient gym. For a foreign visitor to the USA, also the proximity of a Target store and a few specialty stores, along with a couple of reasonably priced restaurants within walking distance were a definite plus. HI Express breakfast is standard, but as it is always included, it's a nice way to start the day, in particularly for a business traveler with no possibility to expense meals.
The hotel is also within walking distance to the Andrew station on the red line of the Boston subway system. The station is on the other side of the freeway, but there is a bridge right next to the hotel leading to the station, which is only one block away.

we would stay here again because of the value and the ability to walkto the subway within a mile...we were here to sight see and had an enjoyable tim but had to go subway or taxi every where we went...

We didn't get to use many of the amenities as we arrived late and left a few hours later for the flight. The park and fly option worked very well.

We enjoyed our short stay. Shuttle to the cruiseport and 2 weeks later, shuttle back from Logan. Quick and easy. No issues. Food variety was perfect. We would definitely use HIX again.

Hotel was just ok. Seemed a bit outdated. Lots of outside traffic noise. Air Conditioner was also very loud and was not working properly. Food selection was not great

We ended up in a non IHG hotel several hours away that was not pleasant. We called the front desk of HIE Boston hoping they'd have a room, Gwen answered she was so extremely helpful took the time to listen found us a room and helped us find our way. When we got there she continued to be so helpful and the then the manager came out gave me his card and told me to call him if we got lost in our travels.
Excellent customer service!!! I will stay there every time I fly or cruise from Boston.
