I specifically called the front desk of this hotel a month in advance of my visit to inquire about shuttle services ahead of my visit to Seattle. I was told the hotel was 15 minutes away from the Sea-Tac airport, and since I was arriving after hours, there would not be a shuttle available. In fact, there was a shuttle service available for reservations. I spent over $100 in cab fare since the hotel was actually 51 minutes away from the airport! Not a good way to start my trip.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by everett27 Loud and not clean
The room was right next to the freeway, so I heard freeway noise all night. In addition to that, there was a local train that several times during the night blew its horn. The room was not very clean; I especially noticed this when I dropped something on the floor and bent down to pick it up - vacuuming has only been done in a cursory manner. I would not return to this property. I do not recommend it.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by jane 99 Smelly, stale cigarette smoke room.
Room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Miserable unbearable night. Front desk said no other rooms available, sprayed the room to mask the smell. It did not help and we had a sleepless, miserable night. As we were checking out, front desk offered a 50% discount for the second night in a different room. Not an adequate compensation for the previous night even through the second room was clean and fresh smelling.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Mediocre stay
There are not too many options for hotels in Everett and this Holiday Inn is old. It is convenient to the Naval Base. The people were very pleasant during the stay. However, the elevators had issues, the ice machine was broken and the workout room was not conducive to a good workout due to sparse and old equipment. I would stay here again due tot he convenience, but only if the hotels in Lynnwood were full.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by djfei Comfortable bed, convenient location
Pro: convenient location since we went to a concert at Comcast Arena, beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, lots of pillows, complimentary Wifi and coffee machine.
Con: staff was not friendly, the hotel was right beside the highway, the shower was not strong.
Overall, I had a pretty decent stay.

Bed and pillows were comfortable. This
hotel was close to the concert venue,
so it was convenient in that manner.
Also, I liked that it was pet friendly, however,
$40?! Wow! Most hotels are $20 per pet!
The rooms are EXTREMELY SMALL!
The toilets are practically touching the bathroom
counter! Glad it was close to the venue we were
going to- but, this hotel is way OVER PRICED!!!!
We won't be staying there again!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hargon Holiday Inn Everett, WA
The property is close (2-3 blocks) to the highway (I-5), yet highway noise is minimal on the property. The room was comfortable with common amenities, desk, chairs, refrigerator and Kreuig coffee maker. Parking area is well lit, yet the smoking area is too close to handicap parking. Finally a matter that really stood-out was the service those with hotel provided meal vouchers (ticket) receive Vs the service those who pay for their meals at the restaurant. Those who use a hotel provided ticket receive less service, let's call it attention Vs those who are paying for their meal. Although this should not be the case, it is obvious the supervisor running the meal servers' in the restaurant fails to understand that in order to qualify for a hotel provided ticket you are paying for a room! It is for this reason I would NOT recommend staying there nor would I stay there again, if the voucher system is still active.

This hotel is a nice place to spend a few days. We have stayed here before. Try to get an odd numbered room, all the even numbered rooms face the I-5 freeway and it can get noisy in your room. We would prefer a free breakfast at the price we paid but we were offered to purchase breakfast with our room for $17 additional. I am not sure if that was each or per room. We have used the pool in the past and it was nice as was the jacuzzi. We will probably stay here again.

Front desk made life difficult for entire family. As a hotel you will be faced with travelers in need of sudden overnight accommodations. There is no reason to torture people for just because 'you can'.

We stayed three days at this Holiday Inn in Everett while we were visiting Coast Guard son and family. They really enjoyed coming over to the Hotel for meals and pool with kiddos. Very nice room, clean, spacious, and comfortable. Room could use a few more electrical outlets and lamps but otherwise AWESOME. Great sleeping accommodations. We highly recommend this Hotel.

This hotel was fun for the kids. It is clean, updated and comfortable to stay in. The pool, hot tub and the gym was enjoyed by all. The only thing that was missing was the complimentary breakfast, which my children always enjoy when we stay at different hotels. The staff were very nice and helpful. It was a very busy hotel.

We thoroughly enjoy staying at your establishment in Everett.
We are repeat customers and stay nearly every month.
The crew on the front desk are wonderful, we get a warm welcome, it's like visiting with your family.
Also, the crew in the dining room can't do enough to make your meal enjoyable. Keep up the good work.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by tailes A very good property
We have stayed here a number of times over the years and so glad it is back to its former stature, and has been for a while too. Check in was a breeze and instant acknowledge of being a Platinum member. The rooms are a nice size with comfortable bed and pillows, wifi worked well too.
It appeared there was a wedding reception that evening but the hotel was nice and quiet. I booked their breakfast included package and it was well worth it with a choice of 3 options including beverage. We also were there for dinner, the menu is limited but the food and service was very good (terrific waitress evening of April 19.)
Easy access of the freeway, if you know where you are going, just follow their map. We did not use the indoor pool, although it did look inviting. It was nice to have the underground gated parking, not many people were using it.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Loour This one stay was a nightmare.
I have stayed for many days after surgery at this hotel. It was perfect. This time was not. Some of it could have been avoided. The hotel was full (convention). Noisy partying after hours. That only one elevator worked meant many people in the hall talking and yelling up the hall to see if the elevator had come. After only a few hours sleep the noise started again with doors (many - most likely every door on the floor) was slamming. And again much noise at the elevator with long waits and upset people. When it finally quieted down here come the housekeepers. Of course after trying to get into my room (yes I had the DO NOT DISTURB SIGN ON THE DOOR) they decided to clean the 2 rooms either side of me. I swear the walls are made cardboard. You can hear everything. So for this stay, I had little sleep and less rest. This was the reason I had come to the hotel; for sleep and rest.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lorne123 Lack of coffee was an issue.
I was pretty disappointed that you didn't offer complimentary coffee in the lobby (in the morning) at the Everett, WA Holiday Inn on Pine Street. You can get a cup of coffee in the lobby at 5 o'clock in the afternoon though. I am not sure if breakfast was part of the room package or not. They certainly did not let us know about it if that was the case. I believe that it was part of the package several years ago when we stayed there. The FINAL STRAW was Monday morning 3/31 at 7:55 a.m. --- we were checking out, on our way to the airport in our rented car and I stopped at the coffee bar to buy a cup of coffee to go. No barista to be seen. The waitresses in the cafe didn't even acknowledge my presence with "hey, I'll find somebody to help you." No eye contact. Nothing. I gave it about 2 minutes and shrugged my shoulders and left. I guess they didn't want my $3.50. The room was excellent though.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Laurra Great, affordable place to stay
We recently stayed here for a pageant weekend, and I was very impressed with our entire hotel experience. First, I felt it was very clean, professional, comfortable, and absolutely worth the money. The staff was very accommodating, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the entire bedding choices (firm or soft pillows labeled) made our sleep wonderful.
I would definitely stay here again!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 noisy and worst breakfast
Worst sleep I have ever had. We had a room next to the freeway side of the hotel. They couldn't switch our rooms to the parking lot side and didn't apologize for the inconvenience! There were people partying in the room next to us and also kept us up all night! The breakfast was way down the banquet hall with no signs and the food was horrible. We decided to go to starbucks instead. I feel like I should get a credit or my money back! Worst stay in a hotel ever!

They screwed up my reservation over the phone, over E-mail, and three times while we were staying there. We wanted two rooms right next to each other and it seemed like an impossible task. The fire alarm testing was loud and obnoxious and lasted for hours. We were charged for a movie we didn't buy, which was the only thing they were able to fix in a timely fashion. We paid too much for the room to not have it include breakfast and with all the other problems, it just wasn't worth the price. We won't be staying here again any time soon.
