Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent stay All the staff were cordial and helpful- gave good advice about events/activities in Boston, Diane at the front desk was an excellent "concierge: and a classy, friendly woman. Kitchen staff helpful- breakfast sufficient for anyone's breakfast needs. Enjoyable food and good variety. Lots of TV channels provided and fitness center was useful. Great location for highway travel and shuttle service available for Logan Airport Express. Price beat all the others nearby and was as good- I have stayed at Hampton before. Holiday just as conducive for short stays. September 15, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff good location Overall my stay was good. Location was where it was convenient for my purpose and a lot of places close by to get good food. The only thing I did not like was the layout of the had the bathroom sink in the bedroom area and the bathroom was quite small. I also wanted a kind sized bed but ended up with two doubles. Being a gold card member I would have thought that I would have received the request that I have set up on my profile, just a little disappointed. September 15, 2014

I complained twice until finally the manager took it upon herself to move me! she was the only one at the hotel who seems to want to help. the shuttle driver preached to me non stop and had to listen to right wing radio if you wanted a free ride. The breakfast was horrible! I asked if I could get bacon that was not burned and the staff member told me that it was free and basically take what you can get. I was stuck there for two week for work and was going to book my next travel to Philly under Holiday Inn....not anymore! I will not stay here again! September 14, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hard bed, inconvenient shuttle, very noisy bathroom fan The bed was so hard I had to put pillows under me in order to sleep. The bathroom fan is very noisy, especially if you get up while others are sleeping. The times of the shuttle is ridiculous ending at 6 in the evening on week days and 4 in the afternoon on weekends. The subway station is way too far to walk to the hotel and there are no stores or restaurants in the area to walk to. The staff and breakfast room are very nice but I would choose another hotel next time that offers later shuttle service or was near the subway. August 23, 2014

Thats all the hotel had because the breakfast was small at best and had no pool Jacuzzi or amenities short of a treadmill in a room. The hotel staff was okay but not friendly. And my gf said the carpeting was sticky and there was liquids on the lamp. Thinking about switching from holiday inn express in the future for company work outings. Staff was ok. Service was okay. Was an ok value I guess if you like sleeping in dirt. August 23, 2014

It was so nice to open the door and come in and be able to relax on the bed. Plan your trip down to the breakfast area to miss the rush, so you can enjoy a fresh pancake!! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Staff and Location We chose this hotel due to its proximity to both Boston and the Cape. My son had surgery in Boston and we planned for his convalescence time at the hotel. This worked brilliantly - the staff were very accommodating and helpful. Although the rooms and decor are a bit dated, all are clean and kept in good shape. The breakfast choices could be made more nutritious and less fatty and carb loaded, but families with kids seem to like it. The laundry is a plus - you don't need to purchase detergent - it comes with the cost of a load. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend this hotel. August 14, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dissapointing hotel I reserved this room for my daughter using points because she was moving & needed a place for a couple nights. The gentleman at the desk gave her a hard time about checking in since I wasn't there & was not at all friendly. It took a phone call from my wife to straighten him out & get her checked in. As a platinum member this type of reception is not at all acceptable. The room rate here is also way over priced for an Express even if it is Massachusetts which is typically higher. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bathroom Our only complaint about our stay at this hotel is that the sink is not in the bathroom but in the room itself. Inconvenient to say the least. Overall stay was very comfortable but this place ( our room ) could use a little freshening up - eg.- old deleted ceiling outlets still visible and ceiling finish looks like a quick patch up job. Room also had the odour of stale cigarette smoke. August 2, 2014

Noisy AC unit cutting off and on in our room along with the squeaky bathroom door made sleeping comfortably a challenge. We left a couple of clothing articles behind and requested that they be retrieved. The clothing was either taken or discarded and the hotel clerk could offer us no further assistance...very disappointing...especially since I have been a loyal customer of this hotel brand for many years, and have not had anything like this happen to me before. There seemed to be very little concern over the matter or assisting me further with my concerns. I expected more. July 30, 2014

We enjoyed the Complimentary Breakfast! There was a wide variety of breakfast items offered, Hot and Cold and fresh! In Room Complimentary WiFi was easy to connect to and fast. They only had one room left and quickly switched me but the room was old and dated. It was not a very comfortable environment. The breakfast area is small, but overall the staff was helpful. I had was not asked about welcome gifts or bonus points. I was just handed a welcome bag. July 23, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfy beds, thin walls, older small rooms The hotel was a wash. There were several pros and several cons to our stay. Overall the staff was very friendly and professional. However, one of the front end clerks placed me on hold for over 15 min and originally told me there were not rooms blocked at the hotel, and she was hard to understand over the phone. The rest of the staff was wonderful and helpful with our traveling questions! Breakfast was very standard, Boston hotels are busy, so items were continually out of stock. The beds were VERY comfortable! Our room was very small and the wallpaper was peeling off in spots (likely due to the high humidity) Beds and top surfaces were clean, but there were items under the bedskirt and behind the dressers that tiny hinds got into Yuck! Next trip to Boston we will probably spend more to stay closer to down town! If you are wanting the outskirts this hotel was good enough! Oh and a pool would have made our stay MUCH better. It's not a problem if it at the hotel web site photos show or say that. -The plumbing very noise, mainly in the morning. -Tv always with bad reception, even in good wheather (not all channels). -Small breakfast space. -I'm platinum member and got a room at looby floor July 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Arrived early and still let us check in. We got to the hotel much earlier than we anticipated - a full 3 hours before normal check in time. Fortunately the staff had a room clean and ready that we could check into. We really appreciated that. The beds were not bad but harder and smaller than we were accustomed to but again, that can't really be helped. The bathroom was extremely small but the vent fan did work unlike 2 other locations we stayed at on our trip. The staff was excellent though and the hotel is very close to a variety of restaurants - that made up for any shortcomings. July 9, 2014
