Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Hotel and Staff Great place with attentive staff and perfectly positioned on the A120 for the travelling man, with very little noise from the duel carriageway. The only thing that lets the hotel down is the Breakfast hot items which seem to comprise of what I presume to be powdered scrambled egg (hydrated with hot water), anaemic sausages that probably have no pork in as they are white when you cut into them and baked beans. Thank god for the Toby opposite! September 22, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff Stayed here Sat 6th Sept for 2 nights. Lovely greetings when we arrived - nothing too much trouble. Room good (if a little cool) - spotless bathroom. A fairly basic breakfast but good value. Quite a bit of traffic noise in our room but we are used to total quiet at home. Certainly would stay again if in the area. September 15, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not what I have come to expect of holiday inns Booked for 4 nights for 2 rooms for business stay Put into disabled rooms which were well used and not so clean and we did not book same. One of rooms cards would not open door .after attempt 4 moved to another room.window in 2nd room unable to open or close with huge gap in frame allowing traffic noise .complained but told no other rooms avail. People next door talking at top of voices until 1 am ish every night. Breakfast very sparse with no cutlery or plates on 2 occasions due to a NHS event .also no orange juice .also it appears holiday inns do not do bacon or hash browns or fried eggs any more as customers request by a survey .more like cutbacks I am thinking! Ordering dinner at night was to there may be delays as they were catering for NHS at 7 pm! .cmon I ordered at 1815 hours . I have stayed in holiday inns many times and this is not the standard I expect from holiday inns. All in all not a pleasant stay for business or leisure . It has really changed my attitude to future stays ! September 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff and a comfortable nights stay. On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff. The room was comfortable and spacious enabling us to have a good nights sleep. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were just as friendly during breakfast and on our departure. If we are in the area again, we would definitely return. September 14, 2014
