The hotel accommodated my entire out-of-town family (including me) and was kind, warm, and gracious during our entire stay. The hotel was clean; the staff was friendly; the breakfast was great...nothing but exceptional. I would highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express Brandon for your hotel needs in Brandon or near Tampa. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very acccomodating and great service Being a Rewards customer I prefer to stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Brandon, Florida when visiting my father. Unfortunately he was on the decline and passed during our stay. Your staff was very helpful and accommodating as they were able to get us a room on the 1st floor and near the breakfast buffet. We asked for late room cleaning and they were accommodating to this request. We don't feel like we are very demanding compared to other guests but your staff made us feel like any request was no problem. Thank you for the enjoyable guest stay at your hotel April 27, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Smoking and Hotel Manager made for an unpleasant stay This facility is supposed to be non-smoking by law. However, hotel guests were smoking on the third floor. We complained on 4 different days and staff told us all they could do was charge the people extra. We even told them the rooms the smoke was coming from. They should have called the Sheriff and had them removed. Also, it was our understanding that with the Discover Florida package we got a free night after the the 5th night of our stay. Staff denied having any knowledge of online deals and stated that online deals change so often they can't be expected to keep up with them. Even if we were wrong about our understanding of the Discover Florida deal, we shouldn't have been made to feel stupid and treated the way we were. The manager on duty at check out made us feel like old people always looking for a better deal. Her attitude was we should be happy with the rate we got. We had this facility booked again for a stay in June but we've now canceled that. April 25, 2014

But it is now more expensive than any of the hotels in the immediate area. This will influence my decision to stay there in the future. April 6, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Room and Hot Breakfast with Excellent Service My 3 night stay was wonderful from the very beginning to the end.:) I drove to Brandon Florida from North Georgia and had requested early check in by 1PM. I was pleased that Holiday Inn Express of Brandon was able to accommodate me on the early check in. Samantha, who was working the desk at the time of my check in was very courteous, friendly, and welcoming upon my arrival.:) She went "above and beyond" to provide me with information (like which restaurants I might like that were nearby) and information about the hotel facilities.:) My room was very spacious and extremely clean (no smoking of course) and I must say that the maid staff were all very friendly and courteous.. The hot breakfast that the hotel provides was absolutely wonderful! Egg omelets that were very fluffy and filling with sausage patties and delicious biscuits.:) Fruit was plentiful and the pastries and muffins were a delight. All in all , I must say I was highly pleased and will certainly return to the Brandon,Fl Holiday Inn Express upon my return to Florida in the near future.:) March 31, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Room Accomadations We are visiting family in town and needed a room to accommodate 2 adults and 2 adult children. We were very pleased with the King bed Executive Suite. It has a separate king bedroom from the main room that has a couch/bed, table chair, its own flat screen tv and and a kitchenette (sink, refrig & micro). Plenty of room! The breakfast was great. The staff was wonderful. Although we were a little disappointed with the wireless connection (had a hard time staying connected) - we will definately stay here again if we return next year! BUT, I must say that the staff makes this place FANTASTIC! They have been so helpful and friendly. They have gone out of their way on several occasions to accommodate us- always with a smile! Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Very poor wi-if I enjoy the property and used to stay often on business but stopped a couple of years ago because wi-if and Internet was so bad I could never maintain connection to do even normal web surfing or download/upload reasonably simple files. Unfortunately the situation has not improved. I notified the front desk on previous occasions and again on this past visit but obviously no progress has been made and simply can't stay at this property because it's impossible to work electronically. My wife and I spent Weds to the following Monday here in mid-Feb., 2014 We are experienced travelers and this was one of the friendliest staffs we have ever encountered -- from the front desk people to the cleaning ladies to the maintenance people--very friendly and helpful. The property was very relaxing even tho I got locked out at the backdoor and no way to get back in. They need to put a card lock on the door leading out to the patio. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and I wanted to take home that pancake maker! Location is perfect but traffic is a nightmare. February 26, 2014

Each time he goes to Tampa, all I have to do is send a reservation request to Jamie/director of sales and she takes care of the rest. Everything is set up without any issues. The room is always ready and comfortable, and the staff is very helpful & courteous. It's truly his 'home away from home' and he enjoys his stays there. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who will be traveling to the Tampa area! February 7, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Poor never stay here Room key never worked more then once never two times each night key had to be redone Wait up 35 min to have room key redone due to only one person working front desk Spoke with manger about this issues but was blown off House keeping cleaning room after 530 pm spoke with housing said we had a full house the nite before this tell me that they only care about the people that they hope to come then the people already there 3rd shift play radio so load at night was unable to sleep try to call front desk but they never answer The only time I saw more then one person behind desk was the nite it was manger reception which I did take advance of Recommend that front staff personal Jordan be promoted this person is vary good in what she does by is brought down by the staff around her January 25, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by One of the nicest properties in the area, but... Stayed a week on business with my field team in January 2014. During our stay there were separate bus loads of a high school volleyball team, and a high school wrestling team that came in. They were typical teens: noisy and self absorbed. But my problem was with the management failing to react to the chaos the kids created. They didn't or couldn't do anything to control the noise, and we had two separate nights of very poor sleep as a result. Had they simply kept all of the kids on the same floor, the problem would have been more contained, and not compromised the experience of loyal business travelers. Instead, they were spread all over the hotel creating a bad situation for everyone. A simple lack of management in my estimation. Don't expect any perks from PC Platinum status at this HIE. The level of detail cleaning we expected was over looked by the maid on the second night stay. This was on the third floor during a Saturday night stay. January 1, 2014
