Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Home away from home Staff were very cheerful upon check-in as well as the next morning at breakfast. Breakfast was well stocked with many choices, including a special King Cake for Mardi Gras! My daughter and I loved interacting with the resident cat. She said it felt more like home, since she missed her cat. The common living room area looked like one you would find at home, complete with board games. We also enjoyed walking to and eating at the nearby restaurant and visiting the antique shop next door. Elderly mother was also pleased with ease of getting to room and maneuvering within the room as there was plenty of space with her walker. Beds were comfy - even the pull out sectional couch had a real mattress, not one of those skinny ones that you feel the springs through. February 18, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff and great service. The only problem we experienced at this hotel was finding the entrance to the facility. We arrived after dark and turned in to the interstate access road instead of the hotel entrance. As a result we had to go back 5 miles to an exit to turn around and come back to the hotel. The entrance to the hotel is not clearly indicated if you arrive after dark. I noticed this problem on previous reviews of this hotel. February 16, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Poor customer service I checked into the hotel after midnight with a reservation for 2 full beds non smoking. The front desk clerk was new and poorly trained. After getting to my room it reaked of smoke! Upon going to the front desk to advise I was asked if I'd like so spray to cover the smoke smell!!! This was not going to hflpful my allergies so I declined. After returning to my room and attempting to sleep I finally couldn't take the migrain the smoke was causing anymore and called down to the front desk to advise we would be leaving, at that time I was finally offered another room! Why this wasn't done at 12 I don't know but by 2:30am I was in a new room which was much better but I still felt so horrible I got very little sleep February 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One of the best! This place rocks! From the minute you walk in this place you feel at home. True southern hospitality. I was greeted by Momma, the beautiful and friendly, house cat as well extremely friendly front desk staff. The location could not be better. It is literally off of I10 exit 115 and has several restaurants within steps of the hotel. Room was great, breakfast was hot and parking was plentiful. Will no doubt stay here again when I'm back in the area! February 3, 2015

Art Gallery next door was full of wondrous things, the restaurant next door is great--local, not a chain, great seafood and Miss Kristi Kreme sings a mean blues in the bar! January 23, 2015
