Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ANTIQUE WEEK-END Always try to stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Brenham when visiting Antique Week-end. Great hotel, well located and always clean and comfortable. The manager is especially nice and helpful and the beds are super comfortable - great value - we will certainly be back. March 30, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Overall good stay I must say that overall my stay was just fine. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the carpet. There were visible particles on the carpet between the bed and nightstand. It did cross my mind.......what can I not see? The staff was friendly, and professional. Parking was difficult though. I am a female, traveling alone and had to park on the opposite side of the building from my room....... I did check in around 10 PM so that was a little uncomfortable. The room was quiet, comfortable and I must say had GREAT water pressure. I will mention that the water was warm but never hot. The stay was fine. I would stay there again. March 30, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel and exceptional staff. Al, the manager was very helpful. This was my first time at this property and probably not the last. I had a nice room away from the bustle of the lobby area. On only one night I had a loud semi truck running near my room but it was at a nearby property and not this hotel's fault. I would definitely stay here again. March 30, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice hotel Very nice hotel. odd layout with some old school outside entry rooms, an add on anex and indoor rooms accessed through lobby. request an inside room and you will be fine. only thing keeping it from a full 5 stars was coffee was luke warm to cold and breakfast room floor was extremely sticky. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A little disappointed Our room was motel style with the door outside. I was worried that it would be noisy, but it was fine. The property is a little on the old side. I thought that the room was worth about 3/4 of what we were charged based on what I have paid for other Holiday Inns in the past. The price was simple too much for the quality. The biggest problem we had was that our room was not cleaned at all after our first night. We had to get clean towels at the front desk. For the price we paid the minimum I would expect is a clean room each day. The eggs at the breakfast bar were terrible. My husband used the fitness center and said the treadmills were good, but other equipment was flimsy. March 4, 2015
