I complained that my a/c wasn't working and nothing was done about it. The next morning at breakfast I hear alot of people complaining that it was either too hot or two cold in the rooms. This hotel just went through a renovation. I was not offered either a snack or points on my check in. I'm starting to see this at alot of locations, the quality is starting to slip. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Stay The size of the king suite was unbelievable! It had a large living area, huge bathroom (for a hotel), and large sleeping space. The furniture and fixtures had all been recently updated and there were two flat screen televisions in the room. The shower was a walk-in and had two shower heads that could be utilized. Everything was clean, the staff was very friendly, and the halls were quiet. There is a Super Target and several restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. September 3, 2014

Sheldon the sales manager was wonderful to work with us on providing a meeting room for the rehearsal dinner and my special requests for rooms for the grandparents. Great service by all the staff. I did not know there was train track right behind the building. Check in was slow but the staff were supper nice. No pool for the kids either, wish I knew that before I checked in. August 4, 2014

Both entrances always had people standing outside of them smoking (so you had to walk through clouds of smoke). Hotel was going through a remodeling. July 29, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Rude Staff The property was nice and the location was great. However, I did not like the fact that they have rude employees. I checked in after a long day of working and had a very rude front desk lady check me in. She did not seem like she wanted to be there, or work at all for that matter. She was very rude and had a sour attitude throughout my check in. The first thing that I noticed is that she was sitting down in front of her own, personal computer, at the desk. She did not rise to greet me but remained focused in her personal business. Very irritable and put me in a horrible mood just by her demeanor. If you do not have happy people working, it just puts the guest in an unhappy mood. I was very displeased. I tried to be nice and respectful, however, she was rude and her attitude was so bad that I almost walked out right then. Not professional at all. I travel a lot and I like to be greeted by a nice person, not a rude, irritated girl. It was hard to understand her, due to her accent, and when I asked her to repeat herself, she got mad off and said it back very rudely. I will not ever stay at this location again, and will advise my friends to do the same. Also, she was not wearing any sort of identification and looked like she had been in her pajamas since the night before. She was still wearing them. I am no expert, but I am sure that gray sweat pants and a t-shirt do not qualify as a professional Holiday Inn uniform. I hope that this problem will be dealt with, as I was not the only one who seemed to notice. I also heard a few other people that checked in after me, that also had a bad experience with this particular front desk staff. July 22, 2014

The motel was conveniently located for my needs. The facilities were clean and the room was in a better condition than many HI Express locations. The front staff person was overwhelmed at check-in even though there were only two guests checking in at that time. A new front desk clerk was texting on his phone when I approached the desk the next day and needed assistance --- this was slightly annoying. July 13, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Mattress very hard and uncomfortable The mattress was very hard. The extra chair in the room was even harder. There was no refrigerator in the room or microwave nor could either be moved in. I have diabetic meds and they should have been in cooler area. After unpacking etc., when I called about these items, I was told that I would have to change rooms. My question is, if available in other rooms, why was I checked into this unfurnished room? Front desk people just did not care to give a customer the better of two rooms without the customer being put out completely. A better room was available for the same price, but it was not offered at registration. This is why I stay at other chains on the majority of my trips, which have totaled 50 nights in motel rooms already this year. July 10, 2014

Opening and closing doors and no conceren for others sleeping. A lot of talking where people were talking around the laundry room area. I personally think there should be a cut off where the laundry room should not be able to be used past 9 p.m. June 25, 2014
