Nice location...clean and comfortable rooms with fluffy beds, pillows, and linens! We were there for a conference and truly enjoyed our stay! Even with some renovations being done during our stay we didn't hear any noise whatsoever...

Hotel common areas and rooms were clean and comfortable. Internet was slow and dropped service occasionally. Overall, we had a very nice stay and would stay here again.

At check in. was not informed of all the construction/remodeling going on at the hotel. Lots of loud noise very early in the morning and throughout the day.

The property was nice and the location was great. However, I did not like the fact that they have rude employees. I checked in after a long day of working and had a very rude front desk lady check me in. She did not seem like she wanted to be there, or work at all for that matter. She was very rude and had a sour attitude throughout my check in. The first thing that I noticed is that she was sitting down in front of her own, personal computer, at the desk. She did not rise to greet me but remained focused in her personal business. Very irritable and put me in a horrible mood just by her demeanor. If you do not have happy people working, it just puts the guest in an unhappy mood. I was very displeased. I tried to be nice and respectful, however, she was rude and her attitude was so bad that I almost walked out right then. Not professional at all. I travel a lot and I like to be greeted by a nice person, not a rude, irritated girl. It was hard to understand her, due to her accent, and when I asked her to repeat herself, she got mad off and said it back very rudely. I will not ever stay at this location again, and will advise my friends to do the same. Also, she was not wearing any sort of identification and looked like she had been in her pajamas since the night before. She was still wearing them. I am no expert, but I am sure that gray sweat pants and a t-shirt do not qualify as a professional Holiday Inn uniform. I hope that this problem will be dealt with, as I was not the only one who seemed to notice. I also heard a few other people that checked in after me, that also had a bad experience with this particular front desk staff.

The breakfast bar always had a nice selection. It was clean and kept well stocked. The attendant on duty was very helpful.

Nice accommodations. The breakfast bar staff person was the best that I have ever seen at doing her job. The motel was conveniently located for my needs. The facilities were clean and the room was in a better condition than many HI Express locations. The front staff person was overwhelmed at check-in even though there were only two guests checking in at that time. A new front desk clerk was texting on his phone when I approached the desk the next day and needed assistance --- this was slightly annoying.

The mattress was very hard. The extra chair in the room was even harder. There was no refrigerator in the room or microwave nor could either be moved in. I have diabetic meds and they should have been in cooler area. After unpacking etc., when I called about these items, I was told that I would have to change rooms. My question is, if available in other rooms, why was I checked into this unfurnished room? Front desk people just did not care to give a customer the better of two rooms without the customer being put out completely. A better room was available for the same price, but it was not offered at registration. This is why I stay at other chains on the majority of my trips, which have totaled 50 nights in motel rooms already this year.

this is perhaps the worse holiday inn express I have every stayed in, the front desk wasn't helpful, one person walk walking around at front desk without shoes, no concerns about customers needs, overall very bad services, I'm a priority club member and they didn't even care and the booklet stand is in rear of hotel

I was in town for my cousin wedding and I must say that this place is great. Even though it was a sold out night on our first night there was not any loud noise or problems. The Staff was wonderful, Dan the houseman was GREAT!!!!! He assisted with directions and always had a smile on!

Sleep quality. There was a lot of noise where we stayed and a lot of people using the laundry late at night. Opening and closing doors and no conceren for others sleeping. A lot of talking where people were talking around the laundry room area. I personally think there should be a cut off where the laundry room should not be able to be used past 9 p.m.

Front Desk incompetence sent a complete stranger with an activated key to my room at 3:00 am. Luckly the hinge lock was on and the man did not gain access to my room. Then again @ 5:00 am, another person with a key tried to access my room, again stopped by the hinge lock. When I called the front desk to notify them of the two security breaches and what the consequences might have been had the two gentleman gained access to the room, they weren't very concerned. They only chalked it up to computer error and maintained that it was not their fault. The first visitor was a guest whe arrived late and was given a key to a room that the computer did not show as occupied. He went down to the front desk, notified them that the room was occupied and was given another room. The second visitor was from housekeeping checking on empty rooms - apparently the computer still not correct. Instead of staying two nights as previously planned, we stayed only one and won't be back.

First let's start off with room 210. If you going to stay at this hotel do not allow them to place you in this room. The room shares a wall with the lobby/breakfast room. The floor in those rooms are tile and anytime someone moves a chair along the floor it is super loud. So loud it'll wake you up out of a dead sleep loud. People start eating around 6:30am...just FYI. The hotel has a set of train tracks that run along side of it, so that's another noise. The bed was very uncomfortable in this room compared to other HIE's that I have stayed in. The bathroom was extremely small. So small that you couldn't open the door if someone were on the toilet. I've stayed in approximately 12 different HIE's over the past 2 years traveling between NJ and Nashville and I wouldn't stay in this one again. Rates were a little lower than the ones closer to Nashville but not worth the savings. And the carpets made my feet black... Time for a cleaning. Other rooms there may be nicer, but 210 was horrible.

The property is very inviting and attractive. They offer all of the amenities that you would expect in a Holiday Inn. But there is one thing that really sets them apart. Nashville has many events, which means all of the motels book up very quickly. As a businessman, I need to count on a stable room rate. Every time I book a room with them, they always make an effort to get me the best possible rate, even though they can book their rooms at an inflated rate even though there might be one event or several taking place at the time. I only stay at this property when in Nashville.

The only downfall was a fan above our room (4th) floor kept kicking in during the night. It was noisy. it was not the window unit.
Great friendly staff at the breakfast area. Maintenance people where very friendly.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by your front desk young woman, who was on the phone (personal call) and she was wearing a Pink Floyd t-shirt, not a Holiday Express shirt.
We left to get some dinner and when we returned the young woman and the maintenance gentleman were sitting in the breakfast area eating their Chinese food. I understand the employees have to eat but why isn't there somewhere for them to sit? Why isn't someone covering the front desk while she is eating?
That evening I needed a blanket for my daughter, who was going to sleep on the pull out couch. I phoned the front desk, when I realized there weren't any in the room, and was told she would bring one up to me, if "I gave her a little time". Needless to say, I NEVER received the blanket for my daughter. We pulled some off of our bed for her.
We were looking forward to breakfast that morning, knowing that we had a long drive. We went to sit at one of the tables only to find a cordless phone, which said front desk, and a half smoked cigarette next to it. I returned the phone to the desk and threw the cigarette away.
Our stay was disappointing this time. We have stayed at Holiday Inns but this one does not compare to the others we have stayed in.

The room was clean, but the hallway was trashy for three days and never vacuumed. The breakfast was hot and good, but it lacked any fruit whatsoever. The room was quiet until the trains frequently disrupted sleep during the night. Bed was soft (very!) but no microwave. Parking was definitely a problem and insufficient sized lots. Not up to Holiday Inn standards -- needs better management.

Night clerk needs to stay awake, especially just before breakfast service. This hotel needs to get mini fridges & microwaves in all the rooms. Breakfast service young lady was awesome. The rest of the staff, with the exception of that night clerk that was asleep at LEAST 3 times I saw him, were very friendly.

We chose a Holiday Inn Express assuming we would have a comfortable clean room for our overnight stay while traveling. We were very disappointed. The facility is in desperate need of updating and cleaning. Our room was literally filthy leaving us afraid to touch anything. We had to ask/wait for linens and towels, when we opened the couch sleeper there was a dirty kleenex, the corners of the rooms were 1 in. deep in dirt/dust etc. We would strongly suggest that you choose another spot to stay.

Ok hotel. Needs updated. Carpet showing wear. Desk wobbly. Large lump in wall by bathroom. Bad caulk job in shower. TV in the seating area picture is messed up. The picture is only about 2/3 size of the screen. The channel listing in the room (pizza ad?) is nowhere close to correct. Outlets on the bedside lamp did not work. Alarm was set upon check-in and went off before the alarm we had set. Not a bad hotel, but several small things added up to a lack of attention to detail.
