My husband has cancer and we have to make several visits to the dr. in this area. When I told the lady about our trips she offered us a hospital discount and lowered our bill. When there is sickness in the family and we are having a lot of expenses, this sure meant a lot to us. We sure appreciated her helping us out and have made reservations for our next stays to be at this hotel mainly due to her kindness.

When we checked-in, there was a problem with our reservation. For some reason, it was made for September and not August. However, the front staff were very accommodating and found an available room (even though the hotel was at capacity). We were even offered a discount. I appreciate the "above and beyond" attitude that was displayed. This hotel is prime location for a trip to Chuck E Cheese and Flight Trampoline park. The kids really enjoyed the pool, as well.

Room is what you would have expected in a Holiday Inn in the 80's. It is a place to stay but nothing special.
The room is small-ish but and clean, but dated. The breakfast fare is mediocre at best.. The breakfast dining Is cramped. I would opt to finding a good local restaurant if there is one nearby.

A quick stop on the way to Pittsburg and this Holiday Inn Express did not meet the standard. Bathrooms should have clean shower curtains and clean bathtubs.
Carpet had a musty smell.
Can not reccomend

I travel very often for business. The hotel overall was okay, but the room (floor) was very damp due to the humidity inside. The bed spread also felt damp. I had to keep the air on "High Cool" to keep it from getting too damp, but then it would get too cold in the room. I don't think they could have done anything to fix the problem.

My wife and I have used this hotel many times when visiting family in Pittsburgh. With the exception of one night, we spent two weeks here in July. Due to a family illness and eventual funeral, we were constantly adjusting our reservations and adding rooms to accommodate our adult children who were coming in from out of town. The staff was exceptional in adjusting to our needs and making sure that we could obtain affordable rates and sufficient space. Janaya, John, and Anne were exceptionally helpful and as always, Gayle was a pleasure to deal with at breakfast. Our sincere thanks to all of them and we will continue to make this our hotel of choice when visiting Pittsburgh.
