Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Recent stay We had to stay here as there are not many choices in the area. Upon check-in, the staff member, John was very nice and extremely accomodating. He made our stay a little better. Our room was very small and a little dated. I injured my leg on the bed as there was a big piece of metal sticking out. Good thing it hit me and not my kids! It cut my leg and bruised me instantly. John was great and tried to fix it. When he could not, he moved us to another room on a different floor. The hallway smelled like a strong cigarette smell (despite being a non-smoking hotel). Our room's cleanliness was so-so- even the lamps were covered with dust. I stayed in three hotels in different towns on my trip and this was the most expensive by far and the worst quality. If I was not in town for a funeral, I would have not chosen it (granted it is an upgrade from the other available hotels in town#. Very disapponted for the price. There is a Holiday Inn Express down the road from my house and it is amazing- not sure what happened here #a little run down and pricey for the quality). Breakfast was okay- not the best quality either. The woman who took care of the breakfast was very nice and accomodating. September 30, 2013

The staff was most friendly and were ready to assist in satisfying your request. Great place to stay to visit the City of Pittsburgh or continue on your way - just off Route 79. The remote location allowed for a very quiet night. Will recommend to others when visiting or passing through. September 24, 2013

It was past the 6pm deadline to get out of the reservation for free, IHG was absolutely useless in helping me to move to another hotel with out also paying the rate for this room. September 22, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean room, nice shower, fridge & microwave This is the place my husband, two children, and I stay when visiting relatives in Pittsburgh. Very easy to get to from I-79 and has a Kings Restaurant next door. The rooms are always clean, the staff is friendly, and the shower head is great. The only con I can think of is that the beds are full size, not queen. But other than that, we always have a good stay. August 10, 2013

The staff is exceptional and always very accomodating. The breakfast is delicious and my room has always been clean.. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone in traveling in the area! April 1, 2013

I am always amazed how I get much better service and attention at a HI Express versus other hotels. You guys need to work on the Holiday Inn-Capitol in DC. Please see my review on that fiasco. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great people,great service, warm and wecoming atmosphere As a road warrior, and one that has seen many hotel chains drop their standards and offer less for more, this HI express hotel offers customer service and quality beyond what they are required to do so. The Manager Ann, has set the highest standards for her staff and really does make you feel that she owns this place herself. I have had the pleasure of dealing with two of her top front desk clerks, Jackie and John. I have now come to expect the way they go out of their way to try to always accommodate not only me, but everyone that has the pleasure to visit this hotel. The only issue I have with this HI Express, is due to the others that have found this hotel the same as ,I that they fill up quickly and often and then you have to go down the street to a lessor quality hotel. I have often asked with all the room around this location,that they should consider a major expansion. I do not enjoy being on the road as much as I have to ,but when I am in the Bridgeville Pa. the quality of my stay makes being on the road alot easier. Great Job, HI Express Bridgeville, lets now have all the others try to meet the standards that they have set Thanks December 17, 2012

This hotel is easy and quick to downtown Pitt. It has lots of local place to eat and is convenient to shopping. It also has a cute downtown with lots of shops and restaurants. The staff is ALWAYS wonderful and it is very quiet and enjoyable to stay here. And they always treat Priority Club Members the best of any Holiday Inn Express we have stayed at!! October 23, 2012
