Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The good did not outweigh the bad We checked into the room just fine, the hotel staff was friendly (only had one employee who was not nice to deal with). The room was very small but this was our first time in NY so I am not sure if it was standard? We discovered the first morning that the drapes did not completely cover the window, as our room was facing east we got the sun streaming into the room at sunrise every morning, now if we were morning people that would be ok but in our case it was sun right in our eyes at a very early hour every day. Then the plumbing problems started. We had to have the houseman/maintenance come to the room every day to fix it. The fourth day I asked to have someone come up and fix it, there was a front desk person who came, knocked on our door and just handed us a plunger and left. I'm sorry but after 3-4 days of requests shouldn't they offer to move you to another room or at least make sure it gets fixed?! There were a few good things, the morning staff including breakfast attendants and front desk agent were very helpful during breakfast hours and for calling a car service to the airport. The BEST thing about this hotel was that it was a minute away from the Subway and an awesome BBQ Restaurant (Dinosaur BBQ)! Just right down the street! November 19, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very comfortable beds!! Very courteous & helpful staff. We arrived a bit earlier than check in time but were able to get a room. Very comfortable room although a tad small. Overall out stay was pleasant and the breakfast was more than we had expected although the eating area could be larger. Thanks for a restful stay. November 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staff The staff at brooklyn new York Holliday are wonderful no problem too big to resolve ,or request too small they will accommodate you with smiles on their faces! The elevator is the biggest issue at this hotel ! I would return because of the staff I wish I could list all their names ! They are your most valuable asset and should be rewarded! November 5, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasant stay I had a very pleasant stay at this Holiday Inn. I travel to NY frequently and I usually stay in downtown BK. This location was very convenient to the train station and only one stop from Barclays Arena. There was plent of shopping and eating in walking distance. The staff was very pleasant. The young lady that was responsible for restocking and cleaning the breakfast area was super friendly and efficient (forgot to get her name). I would definitely recommend this location.
